This week's Love it or Hate It post features Fendi's Sequinned and Wool Embellished Tote from its Fall/Winter 2007 Collection. I must admit that I was rather horrified when I saw this bag. I've always been and still am a total Fendi-holic, but this one is just unforgivable. The first thought that came to mind when I first laid my eyes upon it was that it looks like a hybrid between 2 types of birds - a cross between a turkey (represented by the scalloped bits in the middle) and a vulture (long woolly mop-like Afghan dog bits). I’m glad to see that Fendi has changed the look of their bags to match the 21st century. The Fendi Mini Mamma is one of those hip retro style bags and might not be for everyone. This bag is definitely not going to labeled as a classic bag. The Fendi Mini Mamma has this seasons biggest trends “patent leather“. I also like the opaque perspex chain handle which makes the bag completely unique. To top off the bag it has the metal logo fastening (shown below) which compliments the opaque perspex chain handles. This is one of those type of bags that if you don’t want to wear a clutch this small bag would be perfect for that evening out.

Yes, naturally, being a total Fendiholic, I just had to feature this. From the Fall/Winter 2007 Collection, this Fendi 'Forever Sequined Borsa' is in its signature Zucchiino-print fabric (small 'FF' logo) accented with clear sequins allover. I love the multicoloured metallic Orange/Pink/Blue/Gold calfskin leather trims, but I know I'd certainly prefer it if the bag came without the sequins. 19 year old Delfina Delettrez Fendi,daughter of Silvia Venturini Fendi will soft-launch her collection which features Gothic-looking frog, flowers, and skull pendants on July 2 at, where else, Colette.I think I made something that highly resembled this in the first grade minus the skulls, that would have been a bit odd. I dont believe my mom wore the lanyard looking necklace, if you can even call it a necklace, although she may have used it as a book mark. It was the perfect place to hide such a thing. Presenting: Fendi's Fall/Winter Trunk Show 2007Here are some of the bags from Fendi's Fall/Winter 2007 Trunk Show. I've only chosen a few bags from the F/W '07 Collection to write about, mainly the new shapes and designs that are new to the House of Fendi. Of course, there are the regular Classic Fendi Bags, such as the Chef bag in Patent Leather, etc, but I've left these out because they are not new shapes. The bags pictured here are slightly more innovative - channelling the edgy, Deconstructed vibe. Most of the bags can be converted into clutches for the evening, however, Imho, the bags from this collection aren't necessarily fantastic looking. First up, the the Raddica Boston BagFollowing in the footsteps of Louis Vuitton, this F/W '07 Season sees Fendi experimenting with the Patchwork style. Bagaholic Babe has always preferred the Fendi 'Spy' Satchel to the actual 'Spy' Bag simply because I find the 'Spy' way too big. Imho, the 'Spy' Satchel (yep, the smaller, round-ish almost bowler-shaped looking one is also part of the 'Spy' Range) is cuter, more chic and not to mention, way more versatile, and don't let its size fool you, cos' it's more spacious than you think! ;) From Fendi's Fall/Winter Collection '07, for the first time ever, 3 shades of brown called Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate and Caramel lamb leathers are blended together to form this bag from the F/W collection. I'm a sucker for sunglasses that have something which makes them stand out (and by that I also mean something that let's people see that they're quality, expensive sunnies (terrible, I know)). However if this can be achieved by something other than the brand name, that's even better. For example - I adore the Gucci half snaffles, and the buckles. And my most recent fettish is for the new Fendi B buckle sunnies, which are ultra flattering on, and they're obviously Fendi, without being... a tad pretentious in that way that letters or words are (though don't get me wrong - I still wear the latter).My favorite two (I'm looking for more browns and aviators right now):The above are the 384 model. SJP looks picture perfect in this white Fendi dress and bag at the Night & Day exhibition in New York City. I really love this dress, it adds lovely curves to her lean frame. If you are a purse aficionado then you have spoken or thought about the Fendi Spy Bag at least 100 times. Personally, I can't get enough of these bags and I think Fendi knows it. I have seen the spy in every color and I must say the bag still takes my breath away. Everything about the Spy is delightful to me. The butter-soft lambskin, hidden coin purse, the reptilian like double woven leather top handles, and my personal favorite the zucca interior lining.
