Properties counters staged a strong rally today. However not all of them has got good volume. Fundamentals are still bad without saying... but technically indeed they were attractive... attractive to short! haha Many of them broke out of resistance...but they are close to MA resistances. Then when to long? AT THE RETRACEMENT! In a bullish trend, they are called retracement, otherwise it;s ca
Good day to you all,
Just a very quick thought, but a good though none the less, me thinks.
Considering Martin Luther King and John Lennon, two of the biggest most famous peace-seekers ever, both got murdered in cold blood, I might print off some membership forms for NATO and send them to Kery Katona and Jade Goody.
Might be a good way of wiping them off the planet.
That's it,
H.

Week 7 was Take That week on X Factor 2008. Alexandra Burke gave the kind of performance we have perhaps come to expect and went safely through to Week 8 avoiding the dreaded bottom two sing off. Mentor Cheryl Cole would have been pleased.Unfortunately though, Alexandra is starting to lose favour in the betting market. It is not thought that she can win the contest. Very early on, she was Favourit

Last year, 204,473 Australians visited Bali, up from 137,000 in 2006. Only the Japanese outstrip us in their enthusiasm for the beautiful island.
If that kind of growth continues, then 2008 will beat the 2004 record of 267,500.
But while Australian tourists have confidence in Bali, our Government does not and this is causing angst among a [...]

Hyundai Motor Co. said Saturday its labour union has voted in favour of going on strike amid annual wage negotiations. According to an e-mail from the automaker, 28,243 union members voted in favour of the strike, while 12,544 opposed it. It was not immediately clear, however, when a walkout might begin. Strikes at Hyundai are common. Workers have already walked off the job twice this year. The un
BA (Hons) courses seem to be making a comeback. After years of dominance by BCom (Hons) and economics (Hons) programmes in Delhi University, this year, trends in admissions show that the BA courses are finding favour again.
A look at the admissions process clearly shows the rising popularity of these courses. Sources in Hindu College admit [...]
This week my baby girl has been taking her first steps. Also this week I have read Luke 2:52 which says, "Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favour with God and man." Apart from telling us about his childhood, and reminding us of Jesus' humanity, I think this verse can teach us about parenting priorities. We take for granted that children will grow in stature... that as parents we will

Addicted to the net? You're not the only one. This piece in Pink News (23 June 2008) reports on a recent article in the American Journal of Psychiatry, where Dr Jerald Block, of Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, says adults are becoming addicted to using the web: "It's much more acceptable for kids to talk about game use, whereas adults keep it a secret. Business travellers will continue using hotels to get points and preferential treatment. I stay at the Radisson in Austin every month rather
[Images: Pappix]We don’t know what on earth possessed Liam Gallagher when he asked the hairdresser for this hairstyle, but we had hoped that it was a temporary lapse of sanity on his part. Our spies caught him sporting his newly trimmed locks in May, and we had our fingers crossed that he’d crop his hair back to a normal length shortly. Apparently not…We have it on good authority that the le

This was similar to the same fixture at the end of last season when they visited us, needing a win to secure Premiership status, while we slept-walked thru the 90.This time round the roles were reversed. West Ham had nothing to play for and it showed. They didn't exactly lie down for us, but they didn't pressure us as they had last year.In fact they were so lackadaisical that Ronaldo shi

The Parable of the Lost Sheep is seemingly lost on some folk in Louisiana. They'd rather the lost sheep be fried in oil than be let back into the fold. The Good Shepherd is more concerned for the lost sheep, but if you've just tightened your belt a couple of notches too much, the message might get blurred in the subsequent fainting fit. The State of Louisiana is seeking to ask the U.S. Supreme Court to rule that death "is not cruel and unusual punishment for the rape of a child" and thus doesn't violate the 8th Amendment. This comes on the day that the U.S. Supreme Court rejected a challenge to the lethal three-drug cocktail used in most U.S. executions during the past 30 years. No matter that the stuff takes a time to wend its way through the veins. I suppose these judges describe themsel
Consumers seem to be very easily fooled. As soon as “reduced-fat” appears on a product they seem to fly off the supermarket shelves. In fact: it doesn’t mean you’re being healthy- instead it means increased carbohydrates, and in worse cases- fat-free means increased sugar and chemicals.
But this doesn’t stop consumers. A new report shows that, [...]

A growing number of property investors from Russia are choosing to buy homes in Cyprus, experts have revealed. The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (Rics) stated that interest among second home buyers from abroad was encouraging growth in the country's housing market.According to the organisation, much of this interest has come from Russian property investors.Rics said that consumers in the Eurasian country had not been as badly affected by the global credit crunch as people in the west of Europe.

My friend Richard showed me this video a few months ago and then I forgot about it until Fader randomly posted it on their blog last week. The soundsystem is the legendary Kilimanjaro - they had all the big DJs like Ninjaman, Lecturer, Nitty Gritty etc. The white guy is called Dominic. He is some random guy from London who had a huge street track called "Boy George". What's funny is that it's just some dude from Shepherds Bush on stage looking totally lost and out of place with Ninjaman and Lecturer.I'm DJing in Bristol next Friday. I played there last Saturday too at a night with Quiet Storm. I never knew he was Caspa. Is that widely known? I guess it kind of all makes sense now. I also DJed on Friday at 333 with a guy from Lucky Number records who told me that Skream engineered that Bi-Polar Men remix of Seventeen Evergreen.---Download: Statik feat. Slew Dem - Bad GuysThis is Slew Dem's vocal of Statik's reworking of a song from the Bugsy Malone soundtrack.
Free booklet 'How to Make Effective Presentations' with today's IndependentThis year has seen some excellent newspaper give-aways which have been very useful for anyone interested in public speaking. In April/May, the Guardian gave away 14 booklets and a CD of Great Speeches of the Twentieth Century. These were very nicely produced and contained overviews from historians as well as the content of speeches from JFK, Churchill, Mandela, MacMillan, FDR, Khrushchev, Emmeline Pankhurst, Martin Luther King, de Gaulle, Thatcher, Nehru, Aneurin Bevan, Virginia Woolf and Earl Spencer. With a line-up like that, I can even forgive them for never sending the free storage box that I saved up all those tokens for!Throughout July, the Daily Mail gave away DVDs of the superb documentary series The World at War. Not only did this give me the opportunity to see a brilliant work that I never appreciated as a child in the 1970s but it also contains footage of historic speeches and relaxed, fluent inter

Primary objective of the Overseas Indian Facilitation Centre (OIFC) was to lead Indian diaspora up the investment avenue, but one would certainly not have expected real estate to be the area of greatest interest. At least, not one in which NRIs would want OIFC help. But that’s exactly what’s happened.
We are getting a lot of queries from overseas Indians about investing in property in India.

TradeAFavour follows the past example from Kyle McDonald where he started out with one red paperclip but one year later after many trades he actually ended up with a house. This site follows the same principle of trading something you do not need for something you need or want. Once it becomes popular people all over the world will be trading items and to be fair – this will be quite fun seeing what you can make from something useless to you. Remember, one mans junk is another mans treasure which definitely proves itself with attempts made by Kyle McDonald.
Check out the site to see how it works, the rules of trading and to find out more information. Once happy you can sign up and begin right away. If you have any questions or need help you can get online support from a member of staff waiting for your query.
The door to the store opened at a time no one was expecting customers. The heat in the street threatened to melt the plastic off the bench at the bus stop and metallic surfaces were hot enough to cook on. The proprietor and his wife were sitting in the back fanning themselves with the morning’s newspaper while an ineffective cooler tried to circulate the hot air. It didn’t appear that anybody sane was willing to risk sunstroke just to pop into the corner store. Across the city, people without air-conditioning were wilting in the early afternoon heat. When the proprietor and his wife came out front they were wearing the furrowed brows of the mildly irritated.
The irritation was replaced with concern when they laid eyes on their customer.
She was as inappropriately dressed for the heat as the forty-year-old moms who thought it was cool to shop in the same stores as their sixteen-year-old daughters. The proprietor wondered for a fleeting moment whether the PVC chafed. She was wearing

Today during my daily expedition on Google, I found that I’m still Google’s favourite Werner de Bruin. Well, basking in my own glory, I thought to my self: “Self, where would I rank for only my first name?” The results came in and out the window. Not even in the top 100!!!
I didn't really expect to rank anywhere - about 80% of the top 100 pages use Werner in the domain name. So maybe I should setup my own website? Coming soon…
Alright, so with my ego passed out on the floor, I looked for other Google favourites – favourite TV Series (M*A*S*H), favourite Cartoon (Cartoon Network), Motor Car (Cadillac), Website (Wiki). Idea – what was the favourite best optimised website on Google (W3.org)? Let’s tweak it a bit…
So, in South Africa, who does Google love the most?
And the Top 10 were:

South African Government
University of Cape Town
CSIR

Good news on the cartoon-jihad front. Two Islamic groups tried to sue Charlie Hebdo, a French weekly newspaper, for publishing the dreaded motoons of blasphemy and supposedly "inciting hatred against Muslims". Fortunately, they lost the case.BBC: [...] A French court has ruled in favour of weekly Charlie Hebdo, rejecting accusations by Islamic groups who said it incited hatred against Muslims. The cartoons were covered by freedom of expression laws and were not an attack on Islam, but fundamentalists, it said. The case was seen as an important test for freedom of expression in France.Applause broke out in the courtroom at the announcement of the verdict, which ruled that the three cartoons published in February 2006 were not insulting to the Muslim community, the AFP news agency reports.Editor Philippe Val had rejected the allegations, saying the cartoons were not an attack on Muslims, but on terrorists. He said the ruling was a victory for secular French Muslims."This debate was necessary

This is one of the many times I get deluded by my emotions. Many have said that ennui spurs negativity; I agree.
Anyway, to my friends, I need a favour. For the purpose of customising this blog, I need US$15 to be paid with a Paypal account or a credit/debit card; I have no cards and I can’t fund my account.
Would one of you with the means, get a Wordpress account, buy US$15 worth of credits and then transfer it to my account. I’ll pay you for it. If you are willing, inform me first. Thank you in advance.
So, tis’ the season to be jolly, isn’t it? Get into the spirit of Christmas and have fun! Funnily enough, I’ve alleviated my unexplainable negative emotions. Merry Christmas!
Until now, Rs 18 crore has been released for seeds and Rs 50 crore for tools. However, just like the 75% subsidy for cows — as reported in The Indian Express yesterday — both these offers have had little impact on the ground. Instead of 2.5 lakh quintals that was needed, only 1 lakh quintals was supplied through Mahabeej, the state government's seed marketing unit. Result: it reached only 40% farmers in a quantity just about enough to plant a tiny patch of land in the backyard. - Indian Express, 22 November 2006
