Clothes off My Back- LA Fashion Week Day 1
My Blackberry didn't "spring forward" so I am running terribly late for the kick off of LA Fashion Week but not too late to post my outfit for today (I have been so bad about it lately). I also attempted to take a photo of myself in the outfit since it looks so crappy laying on the floor. FYI ** I will also be Twittering the heck of Fashion Week so be on the look out *** Today I am wearing ... Dress from some random place in Santa MonicaTop by LaRokOver the knee black tights from Dame in Santa Monica Shoes (which I will regret putting on in an hour) by Stella McCartney Ring by Vera WangEarrings from Target Headband from American Apparel

      LA Fashion Week Day 1
I just walked in the door of my apartment, back from day 1 of LA Fashion Week. I am high off fashion (and 2 cocktails ... so excuse my extra poor writing). What a great first day. The day starts off pretty boring ... standing in line for press passes. I can't help but to be paranoid that something will go wrong, but lucky for me everything is fine because i am "in". As soon as I leave the press trailer the photographers seem to be stricken by my wonderful sense of style, they snap away at me. After smiling for the cameras and praying I don't end up looking like a complete fool, I walk into the kick-off party hosted by the Daily. I scoped the crowd for pretty people and came up short and settled for standing in the long line for a cocktail. 2 drinks and 2 more pictures of me later... I am having a ball. The Randolph Duke show was amazing, I couldn't believe how close I was! (more coverage for that show on StyleDash). Wow! This post is probably so scatter brained but wha

      NY Fashion Week Day 2
NY Fashion Week Day 2Badgley Mischka The upscale label, a favourite among celebrities, took to the runway today at the New York Fashion Week.“This was really the comeback collection,” said Michael Fink, fashion director at Saks Fifth Avenue said. “It was glamorous for the evening but there were also modern, long and lean looks. There was just enough dazzle.”The collection was of the 20's flapper style and 70's resort theme. This was evident in their evening wear. The brand’s new muse Teri Hatcher was seated front row to support the designers.Overall Rating :: I found the collection boring and old for my liking. So, neh!

      NY Fashion Week Day 1
NY Fashion Week Day 1BCBGThe BCBG MAXAZRIA runway show was the second up in this season's New York Fashion week. Presenting a typically feminine collection BCBG was supported by Ashlee Simpson, Bittany Snow and Sophia Bush. The palette was mostly grey and beige did not feel very spring-y for me. However the dresses were enough to make me love the collection. The dresses that Max Azria sent down his runway were captivating. Rich with fabrics like gauzes and tulles to added feminity. The dresses were floaty and flirty perfect for spring. Everything at the BCBG Max Azria show was belted. Dresse and blouses. The belted waist will still be a must for next spring.Nicole MillerNicole Miller has proven that yellow isn't going anywhere. Nicole Miller's spring collection was sexy and sophisticated. She used a color palette of black, white, gray, neutrals, pastels and ofcourse sunshine yellow. Her collection was filled with pencil skirts, high waisted pants, blouses and beautiful dresses. Someth

NY Fashion Week Day 5 at the Bill Blass show
Oh oh my, the Bill Blass show, I goto sit in the third row thanks Sofia Mindlin de Almeida from Allure magazine for not showing up. Anyway the Bill Blass show brought a lot of rich clientele to the show and the most coveted people in the magazine industry as well. The show was great the clothes was definitely what Bill Blass himself would've loved. The show had all of the top models there and the makeup was on point. The collection had a mixed of everything, oh how can I forget I was talking this this writer sitting right next to me from the New York Times and Life & Leisure about how great the bags were. I loved the big bag that was in croc-skin. Ok back to what I was saying the evening dresses with thin belt around the waist and there were coats in green, fuchsia and sky blue which I thought was fun to start to show with. The finale was absolutely lovely all the models came out in ravishly LBDs and all of the models looked like they were a having a great time. Front Row Watch-O

NY Fashion Week Day 5 at the Monique Lhuillier show
I gained access to the Monique Lhuillier show, I was pretty excited about it because Monique make beautiful gowns. Even though there was some seats that needed to filled I decided to stand next to the aisle because I wanted the full look at the gowns and try to take some good photos. Monique said in the show program, "This season is all about industrial chic" and it definitely was with the touch of elegance. In the collection there was a lot silk chiffon mousseline, silk tulle and wool jersey with very intricate detail and the use of ostrich feathers was chic. Front Row Watch-Out: Hal Rubenstein was there and Vanessa Minnillo who made the photogs go absoutley crazy.

Early Morning at NY Fashion Week Day 5 the Tibi Show
Today, very early today I attended the Tibi show designed by Amy Smilovic. The show started a 9 o'clock. I live in NJ so I basically I had to wake 3 hours before the show started also known as 6 o'clock. I arrived in NYC exactly has I remember 8:45, I then brilliantly hailed a cab right away during rush hour and arrived at the Tents at 9:04. When I went to the press desk a resilient pr girl smiled from ear to ear and ask me, "Last name?" When I told her my last name she gave me ticket for the standing room. So while I was waiting around the fountain, it dawn on me majority of these chicettes here are waiting for the Monique Lhuiller show; which is understandable for the fabulous clothes early in the morning. The Tibi show was really cute and wearable. I noticed in the Tibi runway show and other runway shows that designers are putting gloves with certain looks and I love that. Tibi collection was sort of a reminisce of the Great Gatsby. My favorite looks from the show was the deco dro

      NY Fashion Week Day 3
Day 3 was a long day but good. My first show of the day was Twinkle by Wenlan. Wenlan is known for her "quirky scarves and unique sweaters" and that Exactly was seen on her runway presentation today handkitted scarves, berets and sweaters. With these lovely handknitted essentials in her collection she used that to do what many designers for the past few seasons have been doing which is layering. Many of my favorite looks were knitted sweaters over dresses pair with opaque burgundy tights and to top of was the knitted berets. Front Row Watch-Out: Because I arrive to the tents later then I wanted I really couldn't get a good look at the front row, however all I know is that Lauren Ezersky was there with all her gray hair fabulousness. Before the show begin.

John Bartlett Men's Fall 2007 Collection John Bartlett always does a great men's collection, great variation of blazers, suits and sweatersYeohlee The Yeohlee collection was nice the clothes seems simple but the struture of some of the pieces had a difficulty feel to it. However the collection was lovely.Marc BouwerI have to say last season Marc Bouwer didn't do it for me, but this collection was beautiful. He had beautiful evening gowns inite and creams with a few gowns in jewel-toned color.
