I'm not a fan of Fantastic Four and never was. I saw the first movie on TV many years after it had already gone through theaters and made its run on DVD. The first film was, in a lot of ways, a poor excuse for a superhero movie and when I found out they were making a second, and saw the pictures of the Silver Surfer, I was prepared for ultimate suckage.Having said that, I can now say I was at least partially proven wrong on this film. Fantastic Four 2 is loads better than the first film. Where the first film failed, this one got it right. There is actually a progressive plot. The Revolution was extremely excited for Mark Millar’s debut issue on the Fantastic Four. Now, I will admit up front that I have simply never been much of a fan of the Fantastic Four. I have tried it off and on in the past and it has failed to hook me each and every time. My first thoughts upon seeing this awesome cover for Fantastic Four were, "Wow, Marvel finally has gotten good at this", and then I looked at the interior pages and was sorely disappointed with the results. Unfortunately for me, Fantastic Four's latest opus doesn't really do much in the way of artistic prowess outside of the cover. The cover denotes some cool undertones, and since I live in the Northwest, Sasquatch would have been rad...but alas...Rob Zombie's Bigfoot is more closely resembling the beast than this skewed and sorry Fantastic Four release. I went to see Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer this afternoon. On my way, the woman on the radio said the critics were not very good and worst than the first movie. I still went ahead. A new trailer was shown of Harry Potter 4. I just hope I did not see the movie and that one should had been the first trailer in my opinion. The film is short(1h32) for a big summer movie and they will have a extended DVD for sure. Yet, I found it a joy to watch and Johnny Storm funny. The special effects were good but I did not start to look at each frames to see if something was wrong. The story was simple to follow(kids) but it’s a summer movie after all. I try not to expect too much, most of the time, and often leave satisfy because of that fact. But I’m eager after watching, again, a trailer for Die Hard 4 . I think the so call critics expect Oscar contenders during that season and should not. It’s summer and a chance for the brain to take a break and enjoy a popc

It’s been more than a year since Fantastic Four came out. And now this year, it’s Fantastic Four 2: Rise Of The Silver Surfer. The second trailer is out. Except Jessica Alba, everyone is looking good. Jessica is really looking weird. She was a lot better in the first one. Overall, the movie looks better than the first one. Only time will tell this. I have been getting excited about the upcoming release of the new Fantastic Four Movie, Rise of the Silver Surfer, the first trailer that I actually see was when the silver surfer first came to earth and caused a bit of havoc. I feel that this second one will be far better than the first one, the thing is we had to build up to how the fantastic Four got their superhero powers, but now we know all that and can justify get on with the movie. Now it seems, as there is a spot of bad news for the movie even before it is released, and that is with a PG-Rating. What this means is that the action sequineses we were hoping for must have been tamed a bit in order to get a PG Rating instead of a 13, which is what many of us were expecting. Oh well we will just have to wait and see if the movie will live up to all the hype.
