One of my favorite Harry Potter artists is a very talented woman by the name of Marta. You might have seen her artwork before, because she's quite well known in the fandom and has her own website, ArtDungeon.net. I've been planning on featuring her art for a while, but I wanted to wait until it was December and the holiday season. The reason being is because this particular illustration is of the Weasleys at Christmas time!Christmas '04 by MartaHonestly, have you seen anything so happy? Marta captured the Weasley warmth and love so well that you can't help but smile. And all of you Ron/Hermione shippers will especially like Hermione's gift to Ron! With the new scenes we have of Bellatrix Lestrange from the 5th film from the recently released trailer (portrayed by Helena Bonham Carter), I thought it would be cool if this week's fanart featured the evil Black sister. So I've been on the hunt for one lately, and this morning I happened to come across near perfection of what I imagine Bellaxtrix to have looked like before Azkaban.Bellaxtrix Lestrange by MelissaLestrangeDone in watercolor, the artist states that this artwork depicts Bellaxtrix pre-Azkaban (back when she was obviously younger and healthier). The art looks so unbelievably realistic, and her eyes are so piercing and Bellatrix-ish, for lack of a better word. I thought it was an incredible peice of artwork and worthy of being featured for the week!--------------------------------------------------
