As Britney Spears’ world continues to improve, her little sister, Jamie Lynn, continues to battle rumors about difficulties with fiancé Casey Aldridge.
“Where there’s smoke, there is fire,” says one source who knows the Spears family well. “Although it’s not something Jamie Lynn is discussing, we all have our doubts that their relationship is solid. Definitely [...]

On the heels of an album launch and a world tour, Arnel Pineda and Journey were heavily featured in American media starting late last month up to the present. And two of these features were the six page spread in GQ's June 2008 issue and the CBS interview. While both dealt with almost the same issues - Arnel's journey from the streets of Manila to his YouTube discovery - the GQ piece was more ex
You've all seen John McCain's fairy tale of an ad, right? The one where after his first term is completed in 2013 the Iraq war is "won," the "terrorist" threat is "reduced," and cows jump over the moon?
Well, here's a better version:
Actually seems more plausible, right?
Finding fat burning supplements that work is easy, but finding ones that do the job without annoying side effects is the challenge. Once upon a time (read: back in the '80s), rainbow-hued denim reigned supreme in the closets of all fashion princesses. But then the styles changed, and colored denim was cruelly cast-out of the fashion kingdom, never to be seen or heard from again. Until, that is, some time last year when colored denim made its glorious comeback and galloped back into our hearts on the proverbial white horse - cuter and edgier and better than ever! Live happily ever after (cuz this trend is here to stay) with one of the three cheap, chic colored jean picks featured above from Forever 21. THE END

It is rare that you’ll hear me mention my children on the site, mostly because my children are very young and Gossip Girl is not a show that I would allow them to watch (not to mention that it’s on waaay past their bedtime). But today, I experienced a Gossip Girl moment with my [...]

[LOBO]
Once upon a time, in the sprawling wooded hills called Sprawling Wooded Hills, there was a quaint little hamlet called Towndaleburgville.
This lovely little village was singular in that the people- peasant, pauper, knight, and baron alike- were all living very happily and contented in peaceful harmony. This was due largely in part to the glorious reign of the great King Artemis King. King King, while ruling his cheerful subjects in a fair and just manor, found much leisure time -as not much ever happened in Towndaleburgville- and spent most of his time solving puzzles and playing games with the brighter of his regents.
One day his lovely daughter, the fair princess Phoebe King, was riding her horse to the outskirts of the land. She loved the beauti

The movie website for the new movie Penelope is bright, fresh and inviting. The graphics are fabulous!...but, not too many reasons to visit the site. The best part of the website is that it has a link to the soundtrack of the Penelope movie. Clicking on the soundtrack link will take you to the Penelope myspace soundtrack page (not to be confused with the Penelope myspace page itself), where you can hear all the songs from the movie! There are also some great downloads to pick up, including some great Penelope AIM / Buddy Icons and some desktop wallpapers. In the gallery section, check out the movie stills of "The Pig" Penelope, the parents, the doctors, the love interest and more! For those of you who have never heard about the film, watch the trailer - it looks like it's going to be
God Leads Me Out of "Fairy Tale Land" What was it so many pages ago that made me pick up this book?
Was I shopping for a fairy tale as I took another look?
Did its cover court me with promises of "happy-ever-after"?
Was its title a guarantee of endless romance and laughter? Yes! I saw us in those pictures: The Princess and The Prince!
Ensconced in our vine-covered cottage,
Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl “Will you marry me?” The girl said:”NO!” And the girl lived happily ever-after and went shopping, dancing, camping, drank martinis, always had a clean house, never had to cook, did whatever the hell she wanted, never argued, didn’t get fat, traveled more, had many lovers, didn’t [...]

The Des Moines Register reports that a community college instructor was fired for calling the story of Adam and Eve a “fairy tale.”
A community college instructor in Red Oak claims he was fired after he told his students that the biblical story of Adam and Eve should not be literally interpreted. Steve Bitterman, 60, said officials at Southwestern Community College sided with a handful of students who threatened legal action over his remarks in a western civilization class Tuesday. He said he was fired Thursday…
Bitterman said he called the story of Adam and Eve a “fairy tale” in a conversation with a student after the class and was told the students had threatened to see an attorney. He declined to identify any of the students in the class.
“I just thought there was such a thing as academic freedom here,” he said. “From my point of view, what they’re doing is essentially teaching their students very well to function in the eighth

Joe and the power of confused social status
Joe accepts a job at a new office. He¹s pretty nervous because no one told him exactly what his job would be.
When he arrives, everyone treats him like a celebrity! They are SO anxious to make him comfortable. They give him his choice of offices, make sure he is comfortable, and they give him extra bonus checks just for sitting at his desk. Everyone seems to really like him and they compliment him on his looks, and laugh at all his jokes. No one ever tells him what to do and no one seems to expect anything from him, so he doesn’t really do anything but play Solitaire on his computer, shop online, and chat with friends on the phone.
They even bring Joe tasty lunches every day and never ask to be reimbursed. If he doesn¹t like what they bring, they offer him some of their own lunches.
If Joe wants to leave early, he just says so and someone even rushes of

Fairy Tales … the Moral of the Story
by Rebecca
I have noticed that fairy tales are rich with lessons and moral teaching. Here are just a few I’ve found over the years.
1) Don’t stay out late at parties. If you do plan to stay out late, be sure your shoes fit snugly.
2) Avoid Evil Knights. You will recognize them by a black charger, a huge black cape, lots of black armor, and a visage obscured in shadow. In fact, avoid shadowy visages in general.
3) Watch your manners around old crones, they are extremely touchy. When planning a celebration of any kind, extend an open invitation so no one will be neglected or offended.
4) Be nic
For someone who doesn't like pink flowers in the garden I sure do have a lot of them. I bought this 'Fairy Tale Pink' Daylily at a Home Depot garden center last year after it was discounted. It was on a rolling cart among other plants that were discounted because they were damaged or looked beat up. Two ladies were looking at it but put it down because they thought it was dead.Since it was the end of summer it looked really bad and the two ladies put it down and instead picked up some annuals. Knowing that it wasn't dead and just going dormant for the winter I bought it for three dollars and planted it when I got home.It has been performing great in my garden and the large, ruffled, pink blooms with the yellow throat really adds color to the entrance of my garden. Watching this plant bloom I can see why it is an AHS Stout Silver Medal Winner.Garden Blogger in Chicago

I’ll never forget Janie, a high school classmate who fluctuated between being my best friend and my biggest nemesis. Janie was heavy set with mousy brown hair and a crude vocabulary talent that could humble the most vulgar of sailors. From sharing secrets late at night to getting into a fistfight at the Winter Formal senior year, Janie was always a part of my high school experience in one way or another.
I mention Janie for one reason – she was never able to land a boyfriend for more than a few months at a time. Bouncing from one guy to the next, she was a torrent of rage and tears, punching lockers on a continual basis. This cycle continued until the last month of the 12th grade when Janie was convinced she had met the man of her dreams.
I should clarify that she hadn’t exactly met the man of her dreams, but rather she was to go on a date with him that Saturday night. She was being set up on the traditional blind date so popular in the late 1990s, only t
It is New Year again – and this time I will try to have a good time after the horrible XMAS this year. Because of the circumstances this year I won’t be able to celebrate it at TITOS at Palma (where I was in 2004 and 2005). Instead I will go to:
I don’t know yet who is going to be there as well – and I haven’t been clubbing for a while now, so I guess there were be few new faces and few missing ones. Should be fun !
