Brooklyn rapper Fabolous is planning a new album and he is taking a cue from Jay Z's "American Gangster" by recording this album with a theme in mind. While the theme wasn't exactly revealed it would be a far cry from how Fab usually goes about recording his albums according to the rapper. Fabolous hopes to rope in Kanye West, NeYo, Just Blaze, and Polow Da Don for the album's production. Speaking of Ne-Yo, Fabolous spoke about a possible "Best of Both Worlds" collaboration. Gawd no! On Wednesday (Dec 5) authorities announced that they had arrested a 26 year-old Brooklyn man in Atlanta in connection with Fabolous’s associate Shamel “Money Mel” McKinney. The New York Daily News said that Anthony Taylor could be taken back to New York to face charges on the murder that occurred November 23 at the New York nightclub Duvet. Authorities believe that the two got into an argument when McKinney tried to take $10,000 worth of jewelry from Taylor. McKinney was then stabbed in the chest and died outside of the club. McKinney’s aunt, Shirley, was happy when she heard about the arrest. “He deserves to do the time. Although T-Pain is my guilty pleasure, I can’t stand his ass sometimes, but I’m sure he ain’t even studying folks as long as he has his “Tallahassee Love.” He’s like a cockroach, no matter how much you spray- where the bottle ’bout much empty- ’til you gotta get the HOOVER for that bitch! There is no denying his talents so let me stop talkin’ greasy for he take my behind to “Church.” Anyway the album is very mellow at first, T-Pain’s voice is very bland to me for some reason, it’s also an album you can throw in the whip. On this album though, I think this is the most serious I’ve ever seen him. He talks a little about his girl having HIV/AIDS, and I’m like, “wow! That’s deep…” I don’t know if this is from real life experiences but it definitely defines epiphany I’ll say! There’re some smooth lounge-ish tracks and a couple upbeat joints on it as well.

Fabolous - From Nothin' To Somethin [Retail]Looks like the early leaks have not stopped, the latest to come is Fabolous. Fabolous is actually one of the few Rappers I enjoy listening to. I feel he always brings it when it comes to his albums. His last release was in 2004 with "Real Talk", so it's been a long wait. I'm loving the fact that thier are many collabarations on the album, it makes the album diffrent. Thier's the club bangers, the midtempo R&B feel songs, and of course the usual Hip-Hop tracks.
