Former inmate Foxy Brown, just weeks out of jail for violating probation, is set to release her new album, "Brooklyn's Don Diva," on Tuesday, May 13. The album will be launched by Black Rose Entertainment/KOCH Records. The album features guest appearances by Lady Saw, Lil' Mo, Dwele, AZ, Kira, Graph, DeMarco,  and more. Foxy Brown was released this morning from Rikers Island after serving eight months of a yearlong sentence for a series of probation violations. The 29-year-old hip-hop star, whose real name is Inga Marchand, had been locked up at the Rose M. Singer facility at the New York prison since October. Police were present as Brown made the walk out of the compound to her waiting fleet of vehicles, taking time out to hug and take pictures with the scores of fans and well-wishers who had come to cheer her on. Foxy insisted her time in jail has humbled her as she appeared in a New York court on Monday. Foxy’s attorney, State Senator John Sampson, claims the rapper’s change of heart was brought about by the Spirit.
