A Fox News reporter gets taken to task when trying to badmouth Rev. Jeremiah Wright in an interview with a sympathetic member of the clergy. For a white Catholic to be able to break this entire controversy down into a reasonable and effective argument for the truth, no matter how ugly it may be, is a testament to the understanding between the races that has eluded our population at large. His words are measured yet passionate, his arguments reflecting the secular and the religious. My only gripe? I wonder whether Fox News would have allowed a person of color the opportunity to speak at length, uninterrupted, on the same issue in the same manner.
