Eight men planned to detonate bombs aboard flights from London across the Atlantic to create deaths on an almost unprecedented scale, a court has heard. Homemade devices were to be smuggled on to passenger aircraft and detonated mid-flight, Woolwich Crown Court heard. Prosecutor Peter Wright QC said the victims of the suicide attacks would have been unwitting civilians. Have you ever been to a show where you are definitely watching the band and focusing but you start to think of other things? This probably is strange but I know you're out there. Lots of times I catch myself thinking about all kinds of other things in life; past, present or future. The instrumentals of the band does something to my brain that causes all this stimulus. Like playing classical music or soothing ocean noises for new born babies, it is doing something. I noticed this first at a Appleseed Cast show many years ago, then the same at a Mercury Program show, then an Album Leaf show. Not just scenary or background, but you are in it. Running, or laughing, it's crazy.Since the early 2000s, Explosions In The Sky have been messing with my mind. They say they are not post-rock at all, in which I agree, however I think it's cause they define it on their own. I saw on CNN today that a man's LG cell phone was in his shirt pocket when the battery exploded, killing him. According to the company that makes that device, that scenario is extremely rare. But still, the fact that such an event can occur, even if remotely, is very scary. I'd heard about laptop batteries blowing up, and how this was made fun of on "The Simpsons." At that point, I figured that explosive devices were rare, to such an extent as to be comical. But now hearing that a phone has killed a man outright, I'm not so sure. If a phone battery can become explosive under certain circumstances, we are all in danger. Can you imagine what would have happened if he and a friend had been using that phone when it blew up, maybe both leaning in to hear someone on speaker? Or what if he had given it to a child? I swore i would never have a.. pink blog.. Please forgive me :) Heheh.. i was so sick of the old boring template so i attempted to modify a new one. Got some base images from Drogue Design and proceeded to violate them by addings happy graphics and turning them PINK ! *whee* It didn't start out that way, the pink sort of just attacked me. The irony is that after spending so much time trying to figure out the html and graphics gibberish, i'm now finally done with the new template, but i'm now also already sick of it! *Argh* I'm half considering switching back.. Still white background. Why? Cos i'm too lazy to re-colour all the other words and stuff. Hmm.. maybe i'll start worknig on a new one now.. :D

Leaving aside my silly attempts at trying to twist my last.fm profile into what I think it should read I'd have to say that no other group in the last few years has given me more pleasure than Explosions in the Sky. This from a Texas band that never utters a single word, often commit constructs of interminable length and can search in vain for the holy grail that is the memorable riff yet still
