      Examining the Magic
My first trip to the Magic Kingdom was in 1978. I'm sure that there was some magic (maybe my dad will leave a comment sharing some of his memories), and I do remember not being able to sleep the night before we left, just like the kids (and parents!) in the commercial, but other than that my thirty-seven-year-old brain hasn't retained anything else from that eight-year-old's experience. The only uniforms anybody sees on the streets are cops, or

Examining the Option ARM Mortgage and Its Bad Press
If you’ve been following the news at all lately you’ve no doubt heard about the poor state of the real estate and mortgage markets these days. Even though the press tends to exaggerate, both markets are in tough shape right now. Much of what the press is focusing on is the Option ARM Mortgage - ARM is an acronym for Adjustable Rate Mortgage. Option ARMs can be a bit confusing, like so many homeowners are finding out, so let’s clear things up and dig into what this beast known as the Option ARM is and whether or not it should even be thought of as a beast at all. As previously mentioned, ARM stands for Adjustable Rate Mortgage. So it makes sense that the interest rate on this type of loan is adjustable, but it’s a bit more complicated than that. Let’s come back to this in a minute, in the mean time, what does the Option in Option ARM mean? The reason this mortgage type is known as an Option ARM is because it offers the borrower four different payment option

The Short End of the Stick: Examining Short Sales in Southern California
It doesn’t come as a surprise that the Fed cut interest rates yet again this week. As the asset backed securities market is freezing up in tandem with falling home prices, the Fed is trying everything it can to inject any sort of liquidity into the housing market. The major policy shift that did occur is their rhetoric of potentially holding off on anymore rate cuts for fears of inflation. We have inflation? I thought $800/ounce gold and $94/barrel oil is simply minor cost of living adjustments. Of course there is inflation that is vastly underreported by the Bureau of Labor and Statistics. Another trend that is emerging is in the short sale market. Even as early as July of this year, the number of short sales in Southern California was approximately 5,000. A large jump from 2006 since we were in the double and triple digits then. So where do we currently stand? In a few short months we are now at a whopping 10,972 short sales. We’ve doubled the amount of short sales in

      Examining Dream Sequences in Eragon
By Leslie Halpern The fantasy adventure “Eragon,” based on book one of Christopher Paolini’s trilogy about a young Dragon Rider, has been drawing criticism for borrowing ideas from the “Harry Potter” series (Hagrid’s dragon eggs and baby dragons), “Star Wars” series (Luke’s uncle killed by evil empire), and most notably “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy (darkly magical advisor, one young man must make a journey, etc). Another element that “Eragon” has in common with these other films is its use of dream sequences – in this case false dreams sent by an evil sorcerer working for a corrupt king.In the movie, a teenaged farm boy named Eragon (Edward Speleers) finds what appears to be the last dragon egg. After secretly raising the animal, Eragon reluctantly becomes a Dragon Rider in order to right some of the wrongs taking place in the kingdom of Alagaesia. In an earlier era, dragons and their riders soared through the skies keeping peace across the land until tra

      Examining home equity loan rates
By MortgageLoan.com Home Equity loan rates Home equity loan rates fluctuate daily just as all mortgage rates. They also rise in tandem with interest rates set by the Federal Reserve, which has raised rates 15 consecutive times since rates hit 40-year lows in 2004. Home equity rates are important, however, if you are serious about entering into a home equity loan you must examine any particular loan program in its entirety. Most home equity loans come with variable interest rates, some come with low introductory rates that can jump up after a set time period, and few come with fixed rates. Home equity loans and their rates and fees differ greatly from program to program so it pays to speak with several lenders and expose yourself to a number of different programs. Mortgageloan.com can put you in touch with the loan professionals you need to compare rates, loan programs, and perform the necessary due diligence to find the right home equity loan program. Paul Johnson: Examining Art
It is therefore essential that society defend itself against cultural breakdown. The best way it can do this is by grasping the importance of art to the well-being of mankind: as many people as possible making it their business to examine art constantly, inform themselves about it and develop their faculties of understanding and loving it. For the love of art is a subjective phenomenon, which comes to us through our sympathetic eye, and no expert should be allowed to mediate. In the end, our own eyes are the key to making art our guide and solace, our delight and comfort, our clarifier and mentor -- in short, the God-given staff of life in this vale of tears. We should use our own eyes, train them, and trust them.-- Paul Johnson, Art: A New History

So the viewbar is closer then ever to being released and this is the time when I really want to take some before and after stats that deal with agloco, so I'm going to show you all some various statistics based from a variety of sources and then once the viewbar is released I'm going to re-take these stats and compare the increase in traffic, to see just how much more effort people are putting in when the viewbar is released. First lets take a look at some Google stats, the first one I would like to tell you about is that there are now 1,650,000 pages on agloco, this is getting bigger and bigger every single day but its still relatively small compared to other markets such as mySpace which has 202,000,000 pages, but this is good news because it shows us that competition has not yet become severe and there is still time to build up a really good network. Lets have a look at a stat from Technorati, this statistic is based upon daily searches for agloco and look at the increase for to
