UNESCO Its Purpose and Its Philosophy Part 1 by Brent Jessop Global Research, June 30, 2008 Knowledge Driven Revolution.com "That [fundamental] task [of UNESCO] is to help the emergence of a single world culture, with its own philosophy and background of ideas, and with its own broad purpose. This is opportune, since this is the first time in history that the scaffolding

Para ello, en Top Spin 3 se han ca

As you probably know, a recommendation in contemporary socialization calls for an absence of political and religious chatter, as it is usually leads to severe disagreements. While there are issues that can be independently placed within either political or religious categories, some issues – like evolution and abortion – are fluid, as they meander within [...]

So, there was this anthropologist bloke at Harvard called Frank Marlowe, and all the other anthropologists wanted to gouge his eyes out. Why? Because he had somehow managed to wangle a research grant to study the important subject of Why Do Most Men Prefer Big Tits?Down the pub his friends would glare at him with barely concealed loathing."Look at many tits today did you, for your research?" one older prof sporting knee socks and sandals would ask."A couple of dozen," Marlowe would reply, smug as you like."Big ones?" another sandal wearer would ask."Pretty big, yeah.""You bastard!" one of the graduate students would cry, lunging for Marlowe's throat. "And here's me, having to slave away on my dreary topic, The Extinction of the Australian Pygmies. I'll kill you!"Once the grant money ran ou
There is an esoteric theory of evolution based on the writings of Madame H.P. Blavatsky and her school of Theosophy. It is such a vast and comprehensive vision of human consciousness that it is nearly impossible to grasp its full scope and meaning.

“I live on Earth at present, and I don’t know what I am,
I know I am not a category. I am not a thing—a noun.
I seem to be a verb, an evolutionary process
—an integral function of the universe.”
Buckminster Fuller
That is what am, a verb, an evolutionary process. For me, personal development is an evolutionary process. I continue to grow and learn. Or should I say, learn and grow. learning sometimes means being uncomfortable. When we try new things its uncomfortable at the beginning. Take skiing for example (or some other activity that you enjoy). When I started skiing it was all about trying to get to the bottom of the hill without falling too many times. As I learned to ski, it become less about survival and more about enjoyment. Personal development and self growth is the same way too. Learning and growing sometimes means being uncomfortable as we change and grow. Next time you feel uncomfortable as you stretch yourself, remember its just

I have close to 14 blog articles which I have done the research for, but never actually took the time to write and publish them. But every now and again a story comes along that fascinates me so much, that I have to publish it immediately. This is such a story.Microsoft is once again changing the face of computing: The latest evolutionary leap in computing. Ever watched the movie The Island with Scarlet Johansson and Ewan McGregor? In the movie the character that plays the director of the facility uses a “surface” / table computer. His desk becomes the computer, with “files” (computer files) scattered across the table. Just by touching the table and moving his fingers on it, he manipulates the files, type and operates the commands.Well, Microsoft is making this all a reality. Click here to watch the video clip of a demonstration of the product. This is really fascinating! I can see that these tabletop/ “surface” computers will soon replace our standard desktop PC’s. Pretty
You tell her Spinelli (sadly I don't think she is listening though)Today the first 10 mins were preempted for breaking news. I play to watch it on SoapNet later. So my Spin day started off something like thisI don't like you anymore Spinelli you smell like bbq chips. What is Lulu THINKING? She is acting like Logan's is her new best friend? You remember Logan right? The guy that assaulted both Lulu and Spin in the coffee shop. Yeah THAT Logan. Spin has tried in vain yesterday and today to get Lulu to see some reason.. She is just not listening.Later Sam drop by is really short with Spinelli, acts like she is queen of the world and shoos him away. You remember Sam right? The chick Spinelli is too loyal too.. Yeah THAT Sam.http://bradfordanderson.net/
Thanks for the positive comments on the Steve Reid post. I enjoy turning people on to creative and interesting music that they might not have been exposed to yet. That's the whole reason that I keep this blog up and running. I know that I haven't exactly been a prolific poster, but I hope to post more frequently in the future.First, I want to expose your ears to the euphoric sounds of the ethno-spiritual free jazz sextet, the Evolutionary Jass Band. Evolutionary Jass Band's founding members Jef Brown and Michael Henrickson(formerly of the Portland avant garde collective JOMF) started the Evolutionary Jass Band around 2001 with the idea of creating spontaneous music with heart and soul. They were originally named the Steele Street Revolutionary Jass Band, but Jef felt that the band should be more about change and evolving. With a similar open-door membership policy to JOMF, their band members have included many of the talented multi-instrumentalists that have been emerging recently i
One of the discoveries we made at Centerpointe many years ago - one that has resulted in such a powerful program yielding such amazing results - is that creating the alpha, theta, and delta brain wave patterns of deep meditation could be made progressively more powerful by gradually lowering what is called the carrier frequency used to deliver these frequencies to the brain.
What is doubly interesting about this discovery is a parallel explanation of how evolution happens that comes from an ancient Buddhist/Hindu/Taoist perspective, explaining why lowering the carrier frequency in our modern, high-tech method is so powerful.
For several thousands of years, mystics have said that the entire universe is a vibrating energy and that everything in creation has its own vibrational rate, the frequency of which depends on its evolutionary development. The simpler and less evolved aspects of the universe have a high frequency and a low amplitude of vibration (contrary to popular metaphysical lo

In search of easy writing students try to find different ways out. One of them is turning to essay mills for help. When doing it, a lot of them don't completely understand how badly it can impact their academic performance.
It may sound amazing, but essay mill services go back to 1800's. They are a worldwide phenomenon and such a long history indicates only that their successful existence is a result of a social request. Before the beginning of 1990's, when e-mail service appeared, the delivery of purchased papers was a long and sometimes failing process. Still, the system has survived.
The rapid development of Internet and its boundless possibilities exhaled fresh air into essay mill companies. Online marketing was more cost effective. To prove it, some research centers conducted investigations only to find out that revenue of an average mill service was $10 million a year. Scary numbers, if to think of it.
Essay mill companies hired college and university graduates - experts
[Copyright notice this is my stuff and carries with it jws blogprint] I feel sorry for the significant other in an evolutionist’s life, but more on that later.
For the next several days, leading up to that gloriously commercialized date on the calendar which is founded in fertility festivals and mythical stories about Catholic saints, that being Valentine’s Day, I will be discussing what else but…LOVE. This may come as a shock to some who believe I have the heart of the grinch, but hopefully these articles will show that I do have some small grasp on the subject     :-)Â
I invite my readers to please leave your comments and added thoughts as we go along, because love is nothing if not subjective, and you as the one being subjected to my thoughts on the subject, may have a totally different view.Â
The first ‘love’ topic that I want to address is that of love and the evolutionist, I see no monogomous monkeys and no evolutionary advantage to romant
Roughly 2 1/2 billion years ago, some algae began to photosynthesize, an astonishing development that led to the creation of plants and a myriad of complex life forms, including, incidentally, mankind.Today, Eric Linton, a Central Michigan University assistant professor of biology, is studying the gene makeup of single-celled euglenoids - single-celled organisms that acquired the ability to photosynthesize from algae - to learn whether that evolutionary step was a single hallmark moment or a series of events over time.Eventually, Linton hopes to learn whether dormant genes that once controlled photosynthesis in certain euglenoids can reactivate, shedding light on whether scientists can jumpstart long-dormant genes in other organisms, such as in humans to fight a host of diseases. With a 354,000 dollar grant from the National Science Foundation, Linton has begun a three-year project to perform complete genome sequencing of six forms of euglenoids, some of which long ago lost the ability
The central question of Nevil Shute's “On The Beach:" how does the human mind react to certain death? The Cliff Notes answer: it can't. As clouds of lethal radiation descend on the novel's protagonists, they cannot help but continue their lives as normal, learning shorthand and planting gardens they will never see bloom. Alas, life imitates art. While the Australian car industry swirls (counter-clockwise) down the toilet of unprofitability, a new report confirms that its government patrons cannot commit to either rehabilitating or killing off the once-proud industry. Their predicament offers a number of valuable lessons about the global car industry.
