Every girl must have cute knit scarves, mittens and earmuffs this winter!
Remember I wrote that every girl must have cute knit hats this winter, preferably the bigger chunkier the better? Same sentiment goes for knit scarves, mitts, and earmuffs. They are thick and poufy this winter, which are just so incredibly cute on every girl ("Eskimo cute" as my guy would say), not to mention warm!Madeleine Press Frill Scarf $225. What a unique looking scarf! Popcorn texture is very cute and adds more warmth and the ruffle trim is so girly. And because it's so long, you can wear it many different ways. Made of 100% Italian merino wool. Eugenia Kim Janine Fur Earmuffs $143. In my opinion, the more gigantic the earmuffs the cuter they look and the cuter you look with them on. Juicy Couture Luxe Hat & Scarf Boxed Gift Set $196. The fox-fur pom poms look just darling. 75% wool/25% cashmere. Juicy Couture '100% Pure Juicy' Cashmere Scarf $195. Again how freaking adorable! Logo charm dangles from the knotted bow on a soft, textured knit scarf. Juicy Cout

Every girl must have cute knit hats this winter!
Winter's officially here for those of us in Ontario, Canada. It's snowing today! Brrr! I don't like winter. But I love wearing cute winter accessories. My guy loves it when I do, too. He thinks girls look much cuter in the winter when they are in their fuzzy jackets, all bundled up in fluffy hats, scarves and ear-muffs. The cutest for me is when little kids are all bundled up playing in the snow. It always makes me go awwwww. We know knitwear is HUGE this season, cable-knit cardigans, sweaterdresses, gloves, etc. Hats are no exception, the thicker the better! If you don't want to be overloading on the knit accessories, then at least get a super cute knit hat to keep yourself warm and looking cute as ever :) Eugenia Kim Daria As A Scarlett Cap $198. Mischa Lampert Loop Rap Hat $209 Eugenia Kim Sammy Wool Trooper Hat $231 Roxy 'Love Story' Knit Brim Beanie $26 Delias' Jess Popcorn Hat $14.50 Alloy's SNOW ANGEL HAT $16.50 $5.99

Every Girl Wants to Feel Like a Princess
When we went to Minneapolis last week I shopped quite a bit with my oldest daughter (16) and her best friend. Our real goal for the weekend was jeans and tennis shoes for her but admittedly the girls spent an equal amount of time trying on 'prom dresses' for their Junior prom this Spring. I came home with 6 photos of the girls gushing over dresses that they don't need until next May!

Every Girl Loves Lingerie - Now Get it For Your Feet!
Once upon a time, I attended the taping of a pilot my friend was directing. It was shot in front of a live audience, so there were a lot of people there. I was wearing my polka-dot Christian Lacroix shoes, so naturally, footwear became the main topic of conversation. One girl I was chatting with pointed out her own shoes, well-worn white flats. There was one detail that she also pointed out, but there was no need - I was horrified the moment I looked down. She was wearing Peds. For those that don’t know, Peds are tiny little nylon slippers for your feet. Think of them as pantyhose, cut down to the shape of skimmers. They are meant to offer the comfort of socks when you can’t really get away with wearing socks. Well guess what? You can’t get away with wearing Peds either. The Peds peeked out from her shoes like a thong out of a 12-year-old’s jeans. I was horrified at how tacky it looked. How fortuitous that I stumbled upon Lingerie du Pied. The compa

Every Girl Needs a Pair of Hot Red Shoes
I remember the first time I put a pair of red leather European Mary Janes on my little girl. She smiled, her eyes gleamed and she eagerly modeled her shoes for me. She was in love with those shoes. Unfortunately, I passed my love of shoes on to her, as she still has a penchant for cute expensive shoes. The point to this little anecdote is that as grown up girls, we still need red Mary Janes. But we need HOT red Mary Janes. Mary Janes with a stiletto heel. With a grown up red lipstick color. With a wicked pointed toe. Ones that make your legs look hotter than ever. And none other than the granddaddy of hot shoes himself, Manolo Blahnik, has a beautiful red Mary Jane patent snakeskin in his Spring collection. Lets just say the Mary Jane has grown up. From this: To this: I’ll let the shoes speak for themselves. They are my latest lust list addition. Available exclulsively at Bergdorf Goodman. Details • Button strap across upper. • 3 1/2″ covered heel. •

Every Girl Should Own A Pair...
Every girl should own a pair of pearl earrings! It is an essential and classic accessory that matches anything! I wear mine pretty much all the time: to work and even when I am lounging around. You can get the real thing or a fake, but you need to own at least one pair. The way to tell if the pearl is real is if when you scratch it with your tooth it feels a little grainy. When you are shopping for real pearls you will encounter two different kinds: Freshwater and Saltwater. They both are great quality pearls but the best Cultured pearls come from saltwater, which is regarded as the highest standard for comparison because the Japanese began farming them this way. That is also why you will notice such a big price difference between Cultured Saltwater and Freshwater pearls. Here are a few good picks:Akoya Cultured Pearl Earrings (7.0-7.4mm), $185 from Blue NileCultured Freshwater Button Pearl Earrings 9mm, $75 from ICE.com14K 8mm - 8.5mm Akoya Pearl & Diamond Gift Set, $129.99 from
