Unfortunately, I will have to be excusing myself from it for this year. I've been spending months, literally, getting my energy back, and most evenings instead of drawing or painting, I'm laying down. Happy Spring to all! It's finally here in Northern Virginia, but the March Winds/blahs are trying to hang on here, Easter Weekend. Yesterday was a chilly but brilliant day. The sky was so clear and blue, it made me feel very hopeful.
Yesterday, I was able to telework from home. It is a terrific way to work, and to be able to focus solely on one project, without all the interruptions for the Answer Queen. So while I didn't get to enjoy the day so much, I didn't have to struggle with the Metro DC traffic ~ a blessing in itself! And my technology worked perfectly, with no glitches! Thank you FIOS.

Since I have moved to Florida my interest in photography has grown more and more each day. It seems that almost every day there is some kind of great photo opportunity. No matter where I am, if I stop and do a 360 degree turn I am bound to find something beautiful to photograph. A line from one of the many Halloween specials I've seen over the years has stuck with me: the idea that Halloween was thought to be the day of the year when the barrier between the world of the living and the spirit world was thinnest and most permeable.
