Unfortunately, I will have to be excusing myself from it for this year. I've been spending months, literally, getting my energy back, and most evenings instead of drawing or painting, I'm laying down. Happy Spring to all! It's finally here in Northern Virginia, but the March Winds/blahs are trying to hang on here, Easter Weekend. Yesterday was a chilly but brilliant day. The sky was so clear and blue, it made me feel very hopeful.
Yesterday, I was able to telework from home. It is a terrific way to work, and to be able to focus solely on one project, without all the interruptions for the Answer Queen. So while I didn't get to enjoy the day so much, I didn't have to struggle with the Metro DC traffic ~ a blessing in itself! And my technology worked perfectly, with no glitches! Thank you FIOS.

Since I have moved to Florida my interest in photography has grown more and more each day. It seems that almost every day there is some kind of great photo opportunity. No matter where I am, if I stop and do a 360 degree turn I am bound to find something beautiful to photograph. Living near downtown, I can hear the city waking up every morning. It starts with a kind of buzz, as the traffic increases, and people head to work. It is hard to take pictures at dawn without getting run over, but I didn't and here are some that I took on Thursday.

I have had my Pink Internet Marketing blog on BlogCatalog since March 28, 2007. Since then, I have been finding blogs and have been found using this blog directory/blogging community site.I think the most important rule of thumb I want to mention is this: If you want someone to favourite your site or join your community or visit your blog, you must make the initiative. Well, the fishies aren't done, but you haven't seen the last of them! I'll finish the painting up and post on the progress, whenever it's completed. I've enjoyed painting each day, and even though I won't be posting a new pic every day, I'll still be creating like mad - though in June I'll be looking forward to having time to do other things, like sew, cook, and do some journal writing. Not to mention spending more time with the hubby since he's done teaching... :)
