Arsenal 1 – 0 Everton 1 – 0 Bendtner (77) A real end-of-season game with three points gratefully received at the end and not entirely deserved. A reasonably bright start faded, as Everton were more than comfortable in containing Arsenal’s forward line, Adebayor marshalled tightly by Yobo for the whole of the ninety minutes. With Yakubu deployed as a lone striker Everton created very little, while Liverpool spurned several chances. A rasping Steven Gerrard volley hit the post, while Everton's best chance fell to Leon Osman who headed wide. Ronaldo Snatches A Lucky Win (Manchester United 2 - Everton 1)
Looks like Everton's dismal record against us will have to continue to the next campaign. Visiting OT on the back of a 13 game unbeaten run, this was probably Everton's best chance of taking a victory away in 15 yrs.Taking the cue from Bolton's victory a month back, Everton came into the game with a robust presence, with the full intent to bully us into submission. Everton's hopes must have been heightened when Edwin Van der Sar (possibly dropped for his performance at Anfield), Rio (possibly dropped for his disgraceful part in the midweek Christmas celebrations) and Hargreaves (probably just rested) were missing completely from the teamsheet.I missed the first 20 minutes of the game buying food for our own mini Christmas celebrations at Cow's place. Everton’s Troubled Plans for Kirkby Stadium
Getting a shiny, new stadium seem to be the fad in the Premier League these days, most clubs have plans in the pipeline (if not already announced), but not all enjoy the same degree of success in garnering support. Everton chairman Bill Kenwright found out the hard way, from the moment his plan saw the light of day, he has been standing in front of the firing squad. At the club’s annual meeting, he was pillored by fans and shareholders who objected vehemently to his proposal of uprooting their Liverpool home to a new 55,000 seat stadium in Kirkby. Some Toffees have even labeled him as “the man who has murdered the soul of the club.” Tesco (Britian’s largest grocery retailer) is Everton’s main partner for this deal. A traffic of 50,000 fans per match day will bring in the moolah for Tesco’s superstore located in the immediate vicinity of the stadium. United Grinds Out Another Win (Everton 0 - Manchester United 1)
Alex Ferguson doesn't like early kickoffs and neither do I. Early kickoffs on Saturdays usually means that I would miss the match since it usually coincides with a bit of time I share with my girlfriend. It's usually the only time of the week we get to take time off our schedules and meet for a nice dinner, before rushing back home to catch United play.Since knowing about the schedules 2 weeks ago, I hatched upon a plan and knowing that Kentona would be facing the same dilemma, we arranged to go prawn fishing as a couples outing. Both our gfs like prawn fishing and both of us love United. It also helps alot that the pub beside the fishing pond was showing the game live. While the ladies were occupied exercising their patience, we would be seated comfortably in front of the projection TV watching the game. Brilliant plan of keeping the ladies happy, as well as satisfying our needs. Now that I've almost sprained my shoulders patting myself on the back, let's get to the game proper.I w

      Everton 0 - 1 Manchester United
It took at glancing header from Vidic seven minutes from time to secure our first away win of the season. My 3 - 1 prediction was a little off, perhaps I was a little over excited on hearing Ronaldo and Rooney named on the team sheet. Never the less, we are currently sitting top of the Premiership albeit [...]

      Everton v Manchester United
Pick From EnglandEverton - Man USaturday, 15 SeptemberKick off: 12:00 BSTPrediction: United to winWON - 1:0The odds: in Decimal 1.80Bwin in Decimal 1.75The verdict:Everton did a great start of the season and they need just a point to go top. But I am sure they will find it very difficult against United in this north derby. On my opinion, United have already used their overall credit of possible points dropping for the whole first half of the season after more than disappointing start adn need to show finally some major improvement on the pitch. Plus for them is the returning of Ronaldo. Everton are unbeaten at home in the Premier League; Manchester United yet to win away from home - everything suits perfect. So take this generous 1.80 award by bet365 and enjoy the game.Live on:Internet - Livescore.com

      Bolton v Everton & Arsenal v Portsmouth
Football betting on two premiership matches for this Friday. First, The Trotters will play against Everton in their home stadium (Reebok Stadium) Saturday. Odds are good for this bet but that will be a tight match, the last Bolton v Everton finished in a draw (1-1). I have a little preference for Bolton Wanderers, Everton's last results shows a performance loss... The second match, Arsenal v Portsmouth, is less risky. I don't think Portsmouth can get more than a draw Sunday. The odds seems good to me for this fixture, see below.Queen's Bet SelectionBolton v EvertonBetOddsRisk LevelBookmaker(Double chance)Bolton or Everton1.332Unibet(Double chance) Bolton or Draw1.402.5UnibetUnder 2.5 (Goals)1.702.5UnibetBolton2.453Unibet(Half time/Full time)Draw/Bolton5.754UnibetOdds may fluctuate.
