The Eureka Maxima Bagless worked fine... for about a year. The only downside is that it did not do a great job on bare floors, tended to blow light dust and dust bunnies away from it. Emptying the receptacle was pretty easy and I never had to replace the filter. Just kept cleaning it, which worked fine.
However... and that's why I gave this vacuum a poor

Wow!!!
The quality of this handheld is evident upon opening the package, I was impressed at the quality of construction and fit and finish.
Upon use I found the suction to be incredible, especially neat was the adjustable access for different angles of use and the emptying and servicing to be straight forward and easy.
I highly recommend this to a potential purchaser, for the price you can't

This series consists of 2 season and 1 upcoming season which will start on 29 July 2008.It is so exciting, about a town called Eureka that is inhabited almost exclusively by the cream of the scientific world; scatter-brained, paranoid, and eccentric as they are. Indeed most of the life-changing inventions of the last fifty years have come from this one, unassuming little community. Needless to say

Thinking of the next big invention is fun.Especially when its in a boring Physics lesson. Our teacher was blah-blahing about how increasing pressure increases water's boiling point. He also exclaimed that if we could build up enough pressure, we could make water reach temperatures very high.He also suggested that if we could find a way to rise the pressure inside the pressure cooker so much, that it could reach the boiling point of oil, we could fry things in water. It didn't take much more 'suggesting' to get me and one of my gaming friends, called Qais, to get our brains to start cooking.Think, think, think. More thinking.I guess the light bulb glowed a few times above our heads, then it turned back off again. Then we had an idea - if we could heat water, and at the same time add more water

I’ve been banging my head, trying to find a way to describe my novel A Sense of Community in a single sentence. Last night, my partner Eileen came up with the perfect description.

Over the weekend we have added our first Paphiopedilum orchid. I have been a little indimdated by these orchids. But Sat. at the Formers Market one of the orchid vendors had this guy for $15. So I decided it was time to give it a shot. The bloom has not opened yet so I do not know what it looks like. But we are only days away. Right now to me it looks like a little head with a helmet on. The brand name Eureka has been synonymous with quality vacuum cleaners since its 1909 founding in Detroit, Michigan. The originator of Eureka, Fred Wardell, worked early on to establish a reputation for excellence, and by 1927 Eureka was selling one-third of all vacuums made in the U.S. From its inception, Eureka focused on making vacuum cleaners sleek, versatile, and maneuverable. Its 1913
Eureka 71A Hand-Held VacuumI'd planned to get the small Dyson, but the reviews of this vacuum persuaded me to give it a try. It's absolutely excellent. It's the best handheld vacuum I've ever tried, and I've thrown more of these things away than I can remember. Fortunately, I've always saved the attachments. Sometimes they fit another model, sometimes they don't. Since there's no fancy coupling required to attach tools to the hose end of this one, its just friction, most fit it.This is a solid, powerful vacuum. The filter is heavy-duty and seems very durable. It's easily removed and reattached. I use those over-priced compressed air duster cans to blow all the dust and dog hair off of the filter. Between this and my full-size Dyson, there's probably more of the family dog outside the house
Only had two weeks, broken belts twice This vacuum does have great suction power for the price. It is also very lightweight. However, I have some beefs. It seems to really blow the dirt around in front of it before it picks it up. Two out of three uses the belt has broken. That is really annoying. Also the hose does not stay plugged into the socket. And I don't like the way that you have to wrap the cord over the hose in the back. I don't know, maybe I got a defective model but I don't think I would ever buy this again. I hope I can get a belt to work on it.Eureka Vacuum CleanerPretty amazing for $50 This is a "first look" review. I just bought the Eureka at Lowe's for $47.97. It goes together very easily with just a Phillips head screwdriver. The machine is relatively quiet and has great suction. I vacuumed an area that I had just cleaned with my old vacuum, and the Eureka picked up quite a bit that the old machine missed. When cleaning tile and wood floors, the suction was so powe
"QUICK UP" HAND VACUUM Hand-held but very powerful, this Eureka model eliminates the hassle of lugging around a full-size vacuum for cleaning car upholstery, sofas, and carpeted stairs. A long 20-foot cord (which wraps for storage) provides good reach, as does the deluxe hose that stretches to three times its length. With the crevice tool on the end of the hose, this vacuum reaches into all kinds of tight places. And, with two motors, one to power the revolving brush and one for suction, the 5.5 amp vacuum cleans deeply. Highlights :- Cleans with revolving brushroll with Riser Visor, a stretch hose and attachments Exclusive Risor Visot pivots for cleaning vertical surfaces such as stair risers. On/Off Brushroll can be turned off to clean hard floors and delicate rugs or turned on for powerful carpet cleaning. I hear him shriek, grab a pristine bath towel and fly to the family room.“Eureka! I’ve got diarrhea! Eureka! I’ve got diarrhea! Eureka! I place the towel in position and seek further information.“Does your tummy hurt lovey?”“Eureka! I’ve got diarrhea! Eureka! I’ve got diarrhea! Eureka! I feel his forehead for a fever.“Coldie, coldie, coldie,” he squalks. I think perhaps my hands are cold rather than he is hot, but maybe not? I run his diet through my inventory checker in case I have inadvertently poisoned him. This seems so unlikely as my little neophobe is still stuck on 17 foods. It is next to impossible to imagine that he might have added poison to hi
By: Robert W. Benjamin Eureka Springs, Arkansas, is a special place that embodies history with Victorian homes and a trolley that will take you around the city. One of the greatest places to visit in Eureka Springs is the 1886 Crescent Hotel and Spa. This hotel is located downtown in the historic district and the history surrounding this hotel makes it worth visiting. You will see the towering hotel and notice its old charm immediately. A great way to enjoy the hotel is to tour the inside or even stay there and then walk out the front door and take a horse drawn carriage ride around the historic city and really feel the personality of this city.If you aren't interested in a carriage ride then you can still get around Eureka Springs, but in a different manner. What would that be? A trolley ride of course! This historic city has trolley services that can take you around the city. It's pretty cheap too with a one ride pass costing $2, a full day pass costs $4 and a two day pass $6. The

Reportedly SCI FI has ordered a third season of Eureka, the channel’s most-watched original series.
Production on the new thirteen episode run will start early next year for a summer 2008 premiere.
Mark Stern, executive vice president of original programming at Sci Fi said that
“Eureka rose to an even higher creative level in its sophomore season, combining entertaining, compelling stories with deeper character development and great cast chemistry, clearly the audience noticed, bringing millions of new viewers to the channel.”
Eureka’s series premiere back in 2006 remains Sci Fi’s most watched programme ever.
Did you watch Eureka and will you be watching this series when it is released?

SCI FI Channel has greenlit production on a third season of its most-watched Original Series EUREKA, ordering 13 new hours of the dramedy.
Eureka will begin production on a third season in Vancouver early next year for a summer 2008 premiere.
Now that’s what I call a good news. Not that I was worried Eureka was not going to get a third season, it’s one of the best shows on Sci-Fi (with Battlestar Galactica of course). Summer 2008 sounds really far though, doesn’t it? But I won’t complain, at least it’s coming back.

Hello!Vacuum Review: Eureka 4870HZ Boss Vacuum CleanerVacuum Rating: 3.5 Stars out of 5 for mediocre suction power, and saving from 2 stars for a sealed HEPA filter system.Vacuum Sensei here, just got done with another long, hot day at the shop. I really wish the air conditioning repairman would get here! I think my lack of air conditioning is costing me 5 customers a day! Anyway, your Sensei has decided to soldier on and type out another vacuum review based on the notes from his note pad. Today, I bring you a review of the Eureka 4870HZ Boss Vacuum Cleaner. There are several vacuum cleaners in Eureka’s Boss line and the 4870HZ is the big daddy of all the Boss models. This vacuum runs in the $180-$190 price range and comes with a couple extras to separate itself from the rest of the vacuum cleaners in this line. When I write a review I always check the official vacuum manual to see what assembly is like, then I’ll have one of the Padawans take it apart and put it back together to see
For my review of volumes 1-2, click here.
As is common for shonen manga, Eureka Seven gets better as it goes. What’s not so common, though, is that it already started off great. More revelations, action and drama in these volumes keep things dazzling and amazing until the final battle begins in volume 5.

Vacuum Review: Eureka 71A Hand Held Vacuum CleanerVacuum Rating: 3.5 Stars out of 5 for having adequate cleaning power and a couple cool features but failing to deliver customer value and a cordless design.Konichiwa! Today your Sensei has a review of the Eureka 71A Hand-Held Vacuum. It’s not that often I get a hand held vacuum here at the dojo. Most people don’t bother to bring them in unless they’re covered under warranty. These things are simple enough to make so a vast majority of hand vacs outlive the length of their warranty and when they do break down it’s usually cheaper to buy a new one. Fortunately for my readers a cheapskate came in asking to have the Eureka 71A Hand Held Vacuum repaired. After I gave this man an estimate of $27 to fix his hand vac he said “no thanks.” I stopped the man just as he went for the door and said “I could use it, I’ll give you $10 bucks.” The man agreed and your Sensei has repaired the hand vac and gave it a thorough review.
YEEESSSSSS I’ve wanted to do this review for a long time!!!! Yes, I’m reviewing another shonen series. I’ll do something shojo-ish soon, I promise.
Anyway, Eureka Seven’s story goes like this: Renton Thurston is a bored 14-year-old who loves lifting - basically surfing on thin air - and will do anything to get away from his boring hometown. One day, he gets the chance to join his heroes, Gekkostate, when a young girl, Eureka, and her robot crash through his roof! By providing the final piece of the girl’s robot, Renton unlocks its full potential, and gets to help Gekkostate… with their laundry and paperwork.
Eureka Seven is a fun, fairly lighthearted series through the first volume; then things pick up in volume 2, and the plot’s twists and turns completely hook you. After all the standard character introductions, there’s drama that rivals most shojo manga. Example: learning of Gekkostate’s military background makes Renton begin

For our 18th month-iversary, the boyfriend-creature and I went up Eureka Tower, to the Skydeck on the 88th floor. It was $16.50 for me to get up there, which I thought was a bit steep, but it was so incredible that I'd do it all over again. I'm even considering going up there by myself, and just hanging out and doing the Work. The lift is a scary, scary beast. It goes from the ground floor to the floor 88 in 33 seconds, and of course bucks and vibrates and carries on all the way up, and your ears pop the entire time, but at least it only lasts for half a minute. But even if you're scared of lifts, or you're claustrophobic it's worth it, because when you get up there -- wow.The view is absolutely unbelievable. I'd had no idea that it would be possible to see the bay; you can even see Werribee! The cars, trucks and trains look like toys, seagulls look like tiny white flies; even the giant ferris wheel looks silly and small. There are a whole lot of rooftop gardens along Southbank th
ON THE LOT - 8pm FOX
One director eliminated tonight, four left who will screen their new films. I like the show, but it’s just dragging along. I’ll watch it until the end because I want to see who wins but I’m not sure I would watch another season (although I very much doubt there will be another season).
EUREKA “Duck, Duck Goose” - 9pm Sci-Fi
My feel-good show. I can watch this show right away because it’s just so nice to watch it and it relaxes me. Plus did I mention how much I like supernatural shows? I just wish Carter and Allison would get together already.
DAMAGES “And My Paralyzing Fear Of Death” - 10pm FX
I haven’t had a chance to watch Damages yet, and I think part of the reason is because I know it’s pretty heavy material so I need to get myself in the right mood for it. I’m sure it’s a really good show though and the preview looks awesome. I will let you know as soon as I’ve seen the first epi

ON THE LOT - 8pm FOX
On the Lot is getting close to the end. Two more contestants are going home tonight which leaves only 6 directors remaining. So far, my favorites are still in the competition, so we’ll see what happens tonight. Tonight, the remaining six will show their short romance film. That is bound to be interesting.
EUREKA “Unpredictable” - 9pm Sci-Fi
Yay, Eureka is back tonight. I think we all know how I feel about Eureka, my feel-good show. So far I am not disappointed in this second season.
THE BILL ENGVALL SHOW “Aloha, Raffles” - 9pm TBS
After watching the pilot last week, I have to say I am not convinced. I just don’t think this is my type of show, it didn’t appeal to me, but I can see why some people would like it. So for now, no more The Bill Engvall Show for me.
