Status update IV - early autumn 2008 - epilogue
You people must become fed up with all these “Status update”-posts, no?After this rather long and 5-way split Status update, I realized there are some other health issues that needed addressing. It also serves as a reminder to myself that the purpose of this blog is mainly to be like a medical journal (for myself and [...]

      Long ago: Epilogue
On this blog my life started when I went to college, or so it seemed according to my friend Rick. He wanted to know more about the early years. I thought about it and was afraid it would be boring: why would anyone be interested in my childhood? I thought that if I left out all the uninteresting details my childhood would make one relatively long post. Soon after I started writing that long post

EPILOGUE: (Belated) Birthday Surprise @ Home !!!
Just wanna mention abit more about THAT birthday surprise weekend. As you may already have known in my previous blog postings, I was ambushed and bombed by almost 100 water balloons in my own damn home. Not only that, I was rained with cold water and smeared with yucky slices of cakes. But I’m not pissed, I’m not angry….no way. It was all for fun right? Right….*cough* Anyway, there was a b

MVP Global Summit 2008 – Epilogue
I have to say, this MVP Global Summit has been amazing! Around 1.800 Microsoft MVPs participated, 450 MSFtees from the Product Groups, 70 Field Teams, around 20 Regional Directors, the CSS Organization and of course the entire MVP Team. It was terrific to see all these passionate people involved in this annual event, not only for the hundreds of technical sessions available, but mostly for the networking part. Chatting with people coming from around 90 Countries and sharing the same Passion was something unbelievably valuable.   And yes it was Fun! Thank you to all the MVPs who participated, thank you to Sean, Toby, Colleen, Karen, Nestor and to the entire Community Support Services Organization who made this event memorable. Ups, I almost forgot: I made a promise during the MVP

      Epilogue
Hello world,First of all, let me apologize for not giving you an update last week but I became a very busy guy. Indeed, I now have a part time job that i had to take, in order to pay my bills and have a slightly better living. I have two essays I should hand in this week plus, a one hour group presentation I must prepare for Thursday. With my hectic schedule,I could not run tests this week end. Indeed, I was locked in my room studying. However i am still training late at night, in order to control and stabilize my powers. I am working on increasing my will power and concentration and so far, the results are pretty amazing. The more I train , the easier it is to summon my powers. Normally, I should have more free time this coming week end to do my speed experiment, so i will post the result

      I Miss You, Heroin! (Epilogue)
I read the first article just over two years ago and at the time it literally blew me away. I could have written it. I know that I lived it. I searched for a long time hoping to find out what happened and voila, finally the aftermath. Enjoy!!! I tried it one last time after I wrote “I Miss You, Heroin” in November 2004. A month after the article was published on www.blacktable.com, I took my last shot. Sometimes in life you find yourself doing things you no longer need or want to do. This is epitomized in the awkward conversations you get sucked into when you’re spotted by a high school chum you no longer know. My realization, inevitably came to late. It appeared as the drug swam over me and numbness smothered my body. And that was that. When I came back to Sobriety, I knew it was the end. It wasn’t just the last shot, it was the last thought too. Hundreds of people asked me for my help after they read my story. They asked me how to quit, how to help loved ones, how to be stron

I had heard rumors of a massive Iron Giant who lived under the ocean, and I wanted to try my hand at fighting it. I had a hunch where he was. We had passed over a black circle in the ocean a few... This full article can be read at http://www.gamingtales.com/finalfantasy.

      Art & Fear, Epilogue
Honestly, I really wasn't planning to do a third post about Art & Fear. However, the book so nicely addressed some of the excellent comments that have been made, that I felt the need to take the opportunity to add a few more quotes.Mark raised the superb question (check out his blog called Notes From The Woods) that:"………I can understand the perfection aspirations of our own work - but what about when we look at another photographer's image, perhaps one of our "heros" - and label that as perfect? We establish a previsualization of "perfection" and then attempt to get there ourselves. Then we will probably subject ourselves to disappointing image after image trying to achieve, perhaps not a replication of the same image, but one that achieves that status in our own eyes……"Bayles and Orland make a wonderful observation about comparisons to other, perhaps more accomplished and/or famous, artists:"But the important point here is not that you have - or don't have -
