Country singer JOE NICHOLS is in rehab, according to a statement posted on his Web site by his management company."As Joe has alluded to in interviews over the past year, he has struggled with the issue of substance abuse," reads the statement. Yet another young Hollywood star enters rehab. The Desperate Housewives gardener checked in Monday for treatment of alcoholism. This following on the heels of a drunken binge of four days partying at the Mondrian last week. Obligatory statement from his rep: “On Monday, March 19, Jesse Metcalfe entered a rehab facility to deal with alcohol issues. He realized he had a problem and was anxious to deal with it immediately. The actor, best known as the hunky gardener on the ABC show ‘Desperate Housewives’ and the star of the film ‘John Tucker Must Die,’ hopes that the media will allow him the privacy to deal properly with his treatment.” Like I didn’t know already who he was? Larry Rudolph, Britney Spear’s manager, told the People magazine’s web site that Spears has checked herself into a rehab facility.  Rudolph has asked that the media “respect her privacy as well as those of her family and friends at this time,” which is why he didn’t state what facility Spears was at, nor did he mention what substance she was in rehab for.
