Last week’s National Enquirer has an article about Hollywood’s “deadliest diets”.
On the cover, there’s Janet Jackson (who dropped 72 pounds in a relatively short time), Britney Spears (”pills cause heart attack drama” - I haven’t heard about that story yet), Tara Reid (who was supposedly secretly hospitalized), Jodie Foster (whose “sudden weight loss” might not [...]
Wow! Yesterday, I had quite a few visitors to this blog. Special thanks to Adam for mentioning me over at Universal Hub. Also, thanks to Nick who posted the MTA song for me. And last but not least, thanks to Christine & Faz who nominated me for the Totally Hip Blogger Award. Now I am blushing!! :DIf you're a new reader, welcome to my world of extreme bead embroidery. Here you'll find a lot of planning, sketching, cutting, stitching, beading & construction of dimensional artwork happening on a daily basis. Below, you see an image of a Boston trolley car. I enlarged yesterday's drawing so that it printed out over 4 sheets of paper. Then, I cut it out, and taped the pieces together. The drawing now measures 19" x 7" tall, which is only an inch wider than my beaded yellow submarine...N
No one was aware that actor Patrick Swayze, who is 55, was diagnosed this past January 2008 with pancreatic cancer or that he had undergone three aggressive rounds of chemotherapy. It was not known until the National Enquirer outed Swayze by printing this tragic news in their filthy rag.

Last week's National Enquirer had yet another story about celebrities with eating disorders. On the cover they had Angelina Jolie, Tyra Banks, Courtney Love and... Jessica Alba!Photo found @ popbytes.comI'm somehow surprised that they are now picking on Jessica Alba's weight. She has always been skinny, but I doubt that she ever had an eating disorder. In fact, she recently stated that she's not even on a diet!"I haven't really worked out in two months, but I do like to do yoga. I'm not on a diet." A few weeks ago, Star Magazine had a story about "celebrities who beat cellulite".This week, the National Enquirer's cover is full of dimpled legs and butts of various celebrities who could not beat cellulite. It looks like no matter how rich they are, celebs still have to deal with this ugly problem that is cellulite.Photo found @ popbytes.comBy the way, does anybody have any idea who the person on the left is? Angelina Jolie’s “deadly disease,” as The National Enquirer screams on its latest issue, is the eating disorder anorexia, as several of you pointed out in the comments. I was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt, and was calling it potentially hyperthyroidism, which is common in women after childbirth, includes all of the [...]
Cameron Diaz has settled a lawsuit against the National Enquirer for a “substantial” amount of damages.
In 2005 the National Enquirer website reported that the actress had been caught in a “passionate clinch” with a married television producer while she was in a relationship with her then boyfriend Justin Timberlake.
The report came under the headline “Cameron Caught Cheating!” and said that Diaz was facing a “grilling” from Timberlake about the affair.
MTV producer Shane Nickerson was identified by the website as the man in the photographs.
Lawyers for the National Enquirer told London’s High Court today the publication accepted the allegations were unfounded and “ought never to have been published”. They agreed to pay the actress an undisclosed amount, and issued a public apology to Diaz, Timberlake, Nickerson and his wife for any distress their article may have caused.
