Esta mañana me he llevado una alegría al leer en varios blogs acerca del anuncio de Nintendo de un nuevo Fire Emblem para Nintendo DS. Como he dicho mil veces (y lo repetiré las que haga falta) la DS me parece la consola perfecta para este tipo de juegos de estrategia. La doble pantalla permite mostrar tanto el campo de batalla como los datos de los personajes de forma simultánea y el uso del stylus puede convertirse en algo muy intuitivo. Sin embargo, debo reconocer que me he llevado un pequeño chafón al ver en VG Channel las primeras imágenes de este nuevo título. En lugar de mejorar el estilo gráfico de los juegos de GBA, se ha optado por algo más “realista”, pero que en mi opinión se ve bastante soso. At the time this photo was taken these specimens were very healthy in the early stages of flowering. I would have loved to had been there a week later as I can image a carpet of red would have covered this area. It was too big for my scanner and this photo was lo res so it really doesn't show it off as well as I'd like. It's framed in a nice gold frame and hangs over her bed. Now there is another grandchild, Bennett, and I am wracking (is that the right word?) my brain to figure out his design. Frankly I'm stuck. There are the usual things...cars, trucks, trains, etc. I'm leaning toward a plane, but am not convinced that is just right. So.....anyway, I thought you might like to see this. I've had several other things getting in my way lately and haven't settled down enough to do something new. Hopefully the next post will be the latest painting.
