I was just watching this the other day on the Ellen Degeneres Show. I totally thought the cover was a joke. But it’s not. Ellen Degeners is really covering the Spring 2008 issue of Modern Dog. Inside she answers the dreaded Iggy Gate question:

I was watching Ellen last night and this caught my attention. She was talking about Simon Cowell and his usual meanness this season on American Idol, showing clips of the (in)famous British lambasting hapless hopefuls on the hit show. She then segued into Arnel Pineda's video and how she wants him (and Journey) on the show. Watch this:

Sally Kern is a Republican State Representative in Oklahoma. A recording from a "small gathering" surfaced on YouTube a few days back. Here is some of Sally's rant about homosexuality, where she claims it as being something worse than terrorism, for our country:
"Studies show that no society that has totally embraced homosexuality lasted more than a few decades. So it's the death knell, in this country. I honestly think it's the biggest threat, even, that our nation has, even more so than terrorism or Islam, which I think is a big threat, OK."
So if Sally is right the world is in big trouble. Put simply from Sally's point of view, Belgium, Canada, The Netherlands, South Africa and Spain will surley fall within the next decade as they allow same-sex marriage.

I watched this interview of Charice Pempengco on TV earlier (Boy and Kris, ABS-CBN) and it's true, Ellen Degeneres called her on the phone for a short interview! Wow! That's really something to be proud of. She first got a call from the staff and then later on, she got another one, this time, from Ellen personally. Details weren't disclosed.Grabeyshus talaga ang power of youtube! This girl has really come a long way. She's already a superstar!! She might even surpass Sarah's achievements if she could really make it at Ellen's.Hello, ABS-CBN, Star Records and Charice's manager, opportunity knocks but once. I always end up defending Ellen DeGeneres in this blog for some reason, despite the fact that I hated her old sitcom and I hate her talk show. She should be low on my pecking order of people I defend, or at least in the middle somewhere because she’s never done anything to make me particularly care about her. I guess I could argue that she pisses me off for making me feel sympathetic towards her and thus whenever I have a chance I need to toss some sort of vile her way in retribution. I’ll start now. Ellen DeGeneres has ugly hair.
Now that that’s out of my system I can move on. I get why the writers involved in the current strike are pitching a fit because she’s still producing episodes. I understand that it breaks the show of solidarity everyone’s trying to show for the writers struggle. With that said, there’s a good number of staffers working on the Ellen DeGeneres show that could lose their jobs if she stops production, and in case no one

Earlier this week Ellen DeGeneres got into a royal stink with a rescue group, Mutts and Moms, when she gave a dog she had adopted to a family with two young children (without notifying the rescue group). Here’s the latest…
In an interview with Bill O’Reilly, the attorney for Mutts and Mom’s says that the rescue group gave the new family the chance to go through the adoption process, but they refused. Since then the dog has been placed in another home with people who did go through the adoption process.
