Well, as usual, life gets in the way of spontaneous explosions of painting, and I ended up setting them up in a still life so I could get to them even if they collapsed from age. Sure enough, it has taken me many months, but here they are!!! Worth the wait and fun to paint!! The farmer's wife told me they were called "Easter Egg Radishes" for their size, shapes and colors. Easter Egg Fight!
Good Friday is not a good day to decide to buy some Easter Eggs. The massive Tesco's near here had completely sold out by 2pm today - so it was off to the local village shops to see if they had anything left. Here found a selection of Easter Eggs for sale, just at the same time that so did 70 other desperate shoppers. (I guess they'd also been to the local supermarkets as well). After putting some much wanted Easter Eggs into trolley, and old woman reached into the trolley to snatch the eggs that she wanted for herself! Pure chaos, and quite a frightening experience. A bit like the desperate rush for petrol (gas) during the fuel protests of 2001 - but with chocolate eggs instead of fuel! Madness.

I guess I thought they looked classy that way.So I got out my food colors and my dyes and made this cocktail of colors, dying and dipping each blown out egg in an effort to get just that right shade of pale greenish-blue.I must have struggled for a couple hours, entirely too long for any rational person. If my husband could have seen me he would have said I was certifiable. Sniff--but Martha would have understood me, yes she'd

      Easter Egg Bunny
Easter in around the corner. As usual, we are sure to do some crafts relating to the festival. What do we have for Easter? Rabbits and eggs! Why not an Egg Bunny?Materials needed:1 empty whole egg shellGlueCotton wool1 pair wriggle eyesSome cardboard cut into shape of ears, buck tooth (not shown here) and feetHow to do it:To remove eggs from shell, gentle make a hole on the top and bottom of shells.Blow on one end and the egg will be push out from the other end.Don't waste the egg! I'm using it to make Steam Egg Custard.Make sure you rinse the inside of the egg.Put glue all over the egg.Paste cotton wool all over.Paste the feet at the bottom and the ears on top (but of course lah!)Don't forget to colour the inside of the ears.Stick on the eyes and buck tooth. Now you have a Easter Egg Bunny!

PS3 Easter Egg, Well … Easter Egg-ish feature
While hardly groundbreaking, and ultimately not even usable when defending the PS3’s exorbitant price, the PLAYSTATION 3 actually has an interesting feature hidden in its Portrait slideshow feature. It turns out that while displaying images in the Portrait slideshow mode, the PS3 can detect faces and will alter it’s presentation of any given picture. Below you’ll find a video, from a chap going by digicam95, which better illustrates this feature. Advertisement: diggIntegrator: digg plugin for WordPress
