What to do when you're in Singapore and bored ? Easy..... - Indulge yourself to satisfy the sin of gluttony. From east, we head down to the west, to Clementi central for a lunch. This is Pato's favourite stall called Pondok Abang to get his Ayam Penyek during lunch time.
Ayam Penyek is a dish from Indonesia but had since made many waves with the locals and today you can easily get it anywhere (probably an overhyped by now). But what made this particular stall caught Pato's taste was the whole package itself. Good serving portion, crispy fried chicken, hot and spicy chilli paste with a twist of sweet and sour from the grapes.

Oops, I did it again...... This time in Jakarta - a solo flight without Pato. With an ongoing commercial building project at Taman Rasuna with Bakrieland, it will be one city that I would be going back and forth for a good six months or more in the year 2008.
After going through the low motion and the turmoil in the political scene, this city is now starting to evolve to a more promising arena. You could see many new mega malls had sprung up, commercial buildings are rising up challenging each other and upmarket residence with very posh setting interiors splashing on the condone fences. Older projects which had come to a standstill during the crisis had resumed and many construction works are now speeding up.
