Criminal charges have been dropped against a doctor accused of causing the death of a 5-year-old autistic boy. Dr. Roy Kerry was using chelation therapy on Abubakar Tariq Nadama in 2005. Chelation is an approved treatment for acute heavy metal poisoning; some believe it is a promising treatment for autism, but the FDA and CDC do not agree. The CDC claimed that the boy was given a synthetic amino acid called Disodium EDTA instead of Calcium Disodium EDTA. Kerry's attorney, Al Lindsay, denied that the use of the drug was an incorrect choice, that it was administered improperly, and that it caused the boy’s death. Lindsay said the boy died of a lack of oxygen to the brain, which was caused by a heart problem not associated with the drug. Kerry still faces a civil lawsuit by the boy's parent

Johnson spent over three years in prison, despite the lack of physical evidence against him and the insistence of the killer than Johnson was not involved. BREAKING NEWS All charges have been dropped against Jonathan Hoffman, who was sentenced to die in 1996 for the murder of a jewelry store owner in Union County. Read the press release here. No physical evidence linked Hoffman to the crime. Prosecutors sent him to death row by deceiving the judge, the jury, and the defense about the true motives of the witnesses against Hoffman. The decision came a week after a judge ruled that testimony given at Hoffman’s first trial by a witness who has since died could not be used against Hoffman at his retrial. This week, they dropped all charges against Anderson and declared their commitment to finding the real killer. In Cumberland County, Charles Triplin is standing trial for the 2003 robbery and suffocation of an elderly man. Apparently, a trio of judges in a Dutch court ruled that it didn't have jurisdiction to rule on the phone maker's claims outside of The Netherlands, thus, the patent-licensing case against Qualcomm was dismissed. Aside from claiming that its "jurisdiction was limited," the court also stated that Nokia's gripe was "too broad to give a reasoned decision." GoodbyesKelis has been dropped from Jive Records! While it is certainly nothing to celebrate, Kelis is obviously well off. Kelis expressed her disdain with Jive eons ago. Kelis released one album, "Kelis Was Here" under Jive Records which produced the hit, "Bossy". Oddly enough each of Kelis' 3 albums have been released on all different labels (Virgin, Arista, and Jive). Overseas though Kelis has remained under the Virgin wing for over 8 years. Good News for Britney. After compensating the driver of the other party in the hit and run case charges against the pop star was dropped. Britney allegedly crashed into a parked car which led to the filing of the charges against Britney. However Britney's camp and the other driver involved were able to sort the matters out amicably. Thus the case against Britney did not pursue. Accordingly, the driver of the other car involved was satisfied with the resolution between him and Britney's camp. A mess settled nicely for Britney. But she is still facing "Driving without a License" and the controversy between her former husband and her children.
