Hi everyone, I have some beautiful black merino wool jersey that I bought on a recent trip to New Zealand. (There is great fabric shopping in NZ!) My idea is to make a wrap top and simple skirt that, when worn together, will look similar to a wrap dress. I like the idea of separates so that I can wear the top with pants and other skirts I have. I want a fair amount of drape in my top, to make the most of the great drape of the fabric. I've looked around on pattern review and at the pattern catalogues, but they all seem quite "flat" on the front. Does anyone have any suggestions? How would I alter on of these flat front pattern pieces to get more fabric / drape in the front?
