The game last night was a blow out 48-12, with Oconto Falls losing, but it was a lot of fun to sit in the stands. The temps hovered in the low 40s, high 30s, and the poor girls wore their skirts until half time. They cheered, and us parents cheered along while snuggled under blankets trying to stay warm. Here's another ATC using Sizzix diecuts of dragonflies which have been spray coloured on card with iridescent inks in blue and pink and applied to the background with foam pads. The background is hand-wash coloured with a range of Twinkling H2O's and blue punched out mini fleur-de-lys have been adhered with glossy accents. Game developers Dragonfly have recently secured the rights to developing a Metal Slug online PC game according to reports from SNK Playmore and the South Korean company. Though the game is only scheduled for release currently around the Asian and Oceanic territories, the company has expressed interest in expanding their market territories in the future. that's right, dragonfly, not dog. don't think i've mentioned it, but the dragonflies are out in full force. it's pretty incredible to see hundreds of them just floating through the air above you. haven't taken a picture yet because i haven't had my camera with me and they probably wouldn't shoot that well, being as small as they are, but i'll see what i can do.it's been hotter than hell of late... hovering around 30 C, plus humidity, which brings it to something like 50 C (okay, might be exaggerating a little) which is kind of nice on some level, but i am praising the fact that i have air conditioning in my apartment. i don't know what i'd do without it sometimes. it's one of those really nifty ones that has a remote and all kinds of controls. i'm not sure what most of them are, (the remote is in korean) but as long as it keeps spitting out cold air, i'm ok.the coolest part is that i can adjust the temperature. if i want to leave it on when i sleep i can leave it on warme

Was able to capture a dragonfly called Common Hawker (Aeshna juncea) when I was out walking in the forest. These insects are big (74 mm) and very camera shy so I had to try several times to get close enough. It was very entertaining to observe them hunt in the air hunting moths. This is a image of a “Banded Pennant” dragonfly, taken at the Clemson Sandhills Research Center this past weekend. It will be included in my “In Their World” series of images that I am collecting/working on. The left wing is in a way, cutting across the head, but I do feel that there is enough going on within the image itself that overpowers that one minor hitch. I simply like the overall feel to this piece, … to look at a dragonfly, admiring him while he studies his world that surrounds him. This demo reel video shows a "dragonfly" like remote controlled robot. It is about the size of say a pigeon and looks like it is made out of styrofoam. This is a dragonfly. It is an insect which lives both in the water (when they are babies) and land. Dragonfly eats other small insects. They have four wings and six legs. They have long tails.Dragonfly usually found near ponds, lake and places where there is open water. The reason is they need water to breed. I think most people have seen a dragonfly flying low near water and dipping their tails. This is how they lay their eggs.When i was a small boy, my brother & i used to catch this insect. It is not easy, because they are very aware and agile creature. Well, we have our own ways of catching. One is just bashing them with stick. This will just kill them immediately, easy. That is okay when we only used them for fishing bate. Another way is to make them confused. We usually move our h
