The news on the medical home model this week is good: A Commonwealth Fund-funded Geisinger study published in Health Affairs demonstrates the extent to which development and implementation of a medical home model can actually prevent those preventable hospitalizations we...

He then explained that he likes women who are [...]

Man faces prison for doughnut theft Mon Oct 8, 6:48 PM ET FARMINGTON, Mo. - It's a hefty price for a pastry: A man accused of stealing a 52-cent doughnut could face time in jail. Authorities said Scott A. Masters, 41, slipped the doughnut into his sweat shirt without paying, then pushed away a clerk who tried to stop him as he fled the store. The push is being treated as minor assault, which transforms a misdemeanor shoplifting charge to a strong-armed robbery with a potential prison term of five to 15 years. Because he has a criminal history, prosecutors say they could seek 30 years."Strong-arm robbery? Over a doughnut? That's impossible," Masters told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch from jail. He admitted that he took the pastry but denied touching the employee. Now that we are getting in Simpson’s overload with the release of the movie, here are instructions on how to make your own Doughnut Trophy that you can proudly display on your desk at the local nuclear power plant.
This is really pretty easy because all you need are some plastic grocery bags, hot glue (lots of hot glue), masking tape, and a bit of paint. There are a few other items, but they are all things that you probably have in your house (or just threw in the recycling bin).

Today is Fat Tuesday...also known as Doughnut Day (which is sometimes spelled as "Donut")...this day is also referred to as Faschnacht Day (Which can also be spelled however the hell you feel like spelling it)...this is also a day known as Mardi Gras (but don't pronounce the "s"). I'm sorry, this day is all so confusing to me! Who exactly married donuts and young girls flashing for beads together into one day of celebration? Pastry and pasties -- if you will.Well, what better way to celebrate such a convoluted holiday than with a dangerously odd concoction served up at GCS Ballpark (Formerly GMC Stadium) -- home to minor league baseball's Gateway Grizzlies. Last season, the Grizzlies introduced a 1,000-calorie "Krispy Kreme Burger," which combines a bacon cheeseburger with a doughnut bun. Ahh, this sounds about as appealing as a chocolate-dipped haddock. But people have indulged in this train-wreck of a mash-up.For a mere $4.50 it's breakfast, dinner, and a little dessert all in on
