There are a variety of cheese pies made in Greece. This is one made with Greek strained yoghurt. Please note, the yoghurt is not part of the filling, but is part of the dough itself, which gives it its own special taste. These small pies can be served as a side dish, or as a meze or in a buffet. They may be quite small, but they are actually rather filling and, of course, very tasty! They are also
Another revelation about Olmert's obsession with money:
Prime Minister Ehud Olmert demanded $5,000 dollars after speaking at a fund raising event for an organization that runs the Sarel IDF volunteer program, Channel 10 reported Wednesday.
The TV channel quoted Sarel founder Col. Aharon Davidi (ret.), a former OC Paratroops and Infantry, as saying that in 1994, when Olmert was Jerusalem mayor,

Christ's parable of the woman putting yeast in the dough reminds me of my mother patiently baking steak pies when I was a boy. God has fully prepared our salvation. Are we ready to take that opportunity?Podcast version hereMy mom used to make great steak pies. I loved to watch her make up the dough for the crust and pound upon it until the pastry was ready to be rolled. She would then get out the
The wooden dough bowl is a true representation of items used in a typical Native American home. In the northern part of Mexico, high in the mountain regions, the Tarahumara people have rugged lifestyles and live in modest dwellings. They earn money for food and basic necessary items by selling their handcrafts. I have always been impressed with the unique baskets, weavings, jewelry and other hand-
It is better to learn from experience of others, because if is safe side of being careful before the disaster. I mean at the time when we have to face unexpected situations, or events where we need help in terms of finance. It is not news to U.S. business people and consumers alike that America’s consumer base is changing, just as the consumer culture is as a whole. Much of the core business is in the lower to middle class population whose notable demographic population is Spanish speaking. This demographic is becoming just as wired and just [...]

I got this one from a friend who got it off the internet someplace. I don't buy frozen bread dough, but sometimes I make extra homemade and freeze loaves of it myself. Because of this, I figured it would be a great recipe to have on hand. I also have a love of sweetened condensed milk... and anything made with it has got to be good!Easy Cinnamon Rolls2 loaves frozen bread dough, thawed2/3 cup Eagle Brand® sweetened condensed milk1 cup chopped pecans2 tsp ground cinnamon1 cup sifted powdered sugar1/2 tsp vanilla extractChopped pecans On a lightly floured surface roll each of the bread dough loaves to a 12x9-inch rectangle. Spread 1/3 cup Eagle Brand over dough rectangles. Sprinkle with pecans and cinnamon. Roll up jellyroll style starting from a short side. Cut each into 6 slices.Greas

Sometimes it is said, “Love means never having to say you are sorry.” Whoever said that is a chump. In my book, love means being ready to admit to the litany of your mistakes, most of which originate from being stubborn, pigheaded, and/or egotistical. Love means standing up and being willing to admit when you were wrong. And so, dear readers, because I love you, I am here to admit that I was
Beware the Destroyer, a strange and powerful being who unleashes unwanted knowledge at unexpected time, often unaware that his or her simple comment has the power to ruin a perfectly good thing for years and years to come.
You may have come across a Destroyer during your lifetime: they often show up around Christmas, or Easter, or whenever one of your teeth falls out after second grade, if you know what I mean. They like to tell you what does or does not exist. They’re also very good at describing the makeup of hot dogs.
I’ve been a Destroyer before, simply by mentioning that I wasn’t a big fan of the cream cheese frosting that lined the top of the carrot cake my very best friend was eating at the time. Horrified at the concept of cream cheese on cake, my friend promptly spit out his dessert and hasn’t had a piece of carrot cake in over 7 years.
I don’t remember who the Destroyer in my life was, but I do remember what they told me: “Eating

Each week, I will test out two tips from the The Complete Tightwad Gazette, and on the following Wednesday I’ll review how they went and evaluate if it is worth my time/effort/money to continue with it.
Both challenges were not too bad this week. I had high hopes for both but only one passed the test, and the other didn’t quite make the grade.
The Stain Recipe
I found the following “stain recipe” from p.274 of The Complete Tightwad Gazette. Eric and I have a problem with finding the occasional grease stains on our shirts. It looks clean but when we put it in on we see some dark spots. I’ve tried Shout and those other products but they don’t work very well on the spots. I thought this recipe might be worth a try.
We chose one of Eric’s old shirts for the experiment just in case it went awry. Because we were only were trying it on one shirt I divided the recipe in half. I soaked it like the instructions said and the next morning I awoke t
Kasi and Stephen stopped by to have a birthday dinner for Kasi. I asked Kasi what she'd like to eat and her answer: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheesecake! 'nuff said. I've made this particular cake before (maybe once or twice) and tastes wonderful. However, I don't often go for this recipe because it needs to be modified to cook correctly, and it has some extra steps that don't add enough value for my taste. The recipe comes from "Star Pooley" as posted on AllRecipes and, as I mentioned, some changes are necessary, just like the last cheesecake recipe I found on AllRecipes -- the one for apple and maple.First of all, Star recommends blind baking the crust. I'm not a fan. But just to be near the recipe I do it for half the time, that is MORE than enough and really superfluous.Second, Star's recipe scale for cookie dough creates at least twice as much as necessary for this cake. And because it's not actually cookie dough (there are no eggs in it), you can't bake off the res
It has always amazed me how some people can take a simple mound of clay or other compound and create the most perfect objects.
I often wonder if they feel what they see as it is created. I recently have had the pleasure of experiencing the bread dough and cold porcelain art of Norma Rudloff Talk about amazing! Norma makes flowers that look so real you can literally imagine the
Portanto, a formação “I have 50.40 bucks”, está incorreta.
I have just 3 bucks in my wallet.Eu tenho apenas 3 dólares em minha carteira.
I earn 1,000 bucks per week.Eu ganho 1.000 dólares por semana.
The car is 19,028 bucks.O carro custa 19.028 dólares.
Neste último exemplo eu utilizei a palavra grand, uma gíria que significa “mil dólares”.
He has 19 grand in his bank account.Ele tem 19 mill dólares em sua conta bancária.

Another year, another research record.
Researchers at the University of Central Florida received $121.4-million in outside grants during the budget year that ended June 30, UCF officials announced Thursday morning. That's $17-million (18 percent) more than last year, and it marks the third straight year that UCF brought in more than $100-million for research.
M.J. Soileau, UCF’s vice president for Research and Commercialization, said several of the larger grants UCF researchers secured were very competitive, signaling the strength of UCF's research.
The College of Education led all UCF colleges and institutes with $21.1-million in research funding, slightly ahead of the $20.9-million that went to the College of Engineering and Computer Science. The College of Optics and Photonics received $16.1 million, including $4.5 million to establish a state center of excellence in advanced laser technology.
It's worth noting that UCF is bringing in this much research money before its
North Korea has finally received the $25 million frozen in Macao’s Banco Delta Asia that it “demanded” prior to its following through on the February 13th agreement to dismantle the Yongbyon nuclear plant. There should still remain concerns as it is unlikely North Korea will discontinue its illegal activities, such as counterfeiting money and cigarettes, drug traffic and illegal weapons sales, as it has proved so lucrative. It will likely (hopefully) continue to have banking difficulties based upon the U.S. Treasury working group Illicit Activities Initiative, which tracked the North’s illegal activities. It was this investigation that led to the U.S. Treasury finding Macao’s Banco Delta Asia a “primary money laundering concern.” No international banking member wants to be labeled as such, so Kim will have a tough time of things. The U.N.s IAEA will now meet with North Korea to discuss “a timetable for shutting down the reactor and technical details of mo

I am so stoked, I had both Pinochet and Peter Boyle in my celebrity death pool. That bastard who drafted Robert Downey Jr. during his latest heroin bender had better pray that the Rob's most recent tap dance through rehab ends with a flatline in Mount Sinai's ER before December 31st or CHA CHING! The Queen takes this year's jackpot!Of course, every group has it's sticklers and ours is no exception; we have some Johnny Come Lately who now wants all third-world dictators disqualified as bona fide celebrities on the grounds that they are only famous after they kill a few thousand of their countrymen. To him I say "Look dude, you're just pissed because you have Nicole Ritchie and People had a photo of that bitch eating a sandwich in Malibu last week."Now if I can just get someone to push John Cougar Mellencamp off a cliff...
I bought a five pound tub of chocolate chip cookie dough last Friday and the dough is already half way gone. I wouldn't feel so bad except that none of the dough ever made it into the oven before it got shoveled into my face. The only person who could possibly understand is my darling Rubens but he's long gone.In other news - well, there is no other news. I'll have to make something up like always. What should it be tonight? My comical run-in with Kim Jong-il? How I saved my neighbors' newborn baby from a raging inferno wearing high heels? Or maybe I could spin a convincing picture of my previous life as an IceCapades ambulance driver.Or I could just dig into my mental files and give you guys something real that's been kicking around in my brain for a while.White Lies:When I was 16 by some strange turn of events I ended up alone at an IHOP at 3am on a school night. Tonight I watched “On the Lot”.
I really enjoyed it, I wish I had actually watched it all season. Tonight was the final night of films.
The movie above was one of my faves, mainly because its a musical. And I like bread.
I don't know whether I can call this dish a bun, but it was inspired by Shilpa's Spicy Stuffed Potato Buns. Maybe we can also name it as Stuffed Pizza, Indian Style. It's very simple to make and is delicious. I wanted to try Shilpa's recipe, but I doubted whether ...
