1 (13 1/2 ounce) jar strawberry jelly (or other fruit jelly)

1 - Sprinkle yeast over warm water and let stand five minutes or until foamy.
2 - In a large bowl, mix together the yeast mixture, milk, sugar, salt, eggs, shortening and two cups flour. Mix for a few minutes at low speed.

The queue wasn't that bad though I had to wait in line for 20 minutes. And if you had waited for 20 minutes, it wouldn't make sense to buy 3 right? So, I bought half a dozen and another half for my good friends, Dexter and Kim. The variety was great at JCo. Donuts but most of all, they tasted heavenly! Funny that I won't queue for the ones in Singapore but I'd queue for this one!Last Sunday, I went to Pavilion with the hope to buy some but this time, I was put off by the queue... I wasn't that greedy then. Now that I'm writing about it, the craving is here again :(
Our neighbor’s dog has an ongoing battle with butterflies and birds. They ignore the boundaries of his territory every day — forgetting the wrath behind the ‘arf’. You have to give it to him — staying power must run in his family.
So Friday I came down with a virus. Made it half-way through the day at work before it took me down for the count. A count of 20 that is. I slept from noon until eight the next morning. Woke feeling as though I’d been teleported through time, complete with the confusion that comes with losing 20 hours of your life.
Let’s see what else is going on… oh yeah, the Google smack down continues. It appears that text links are out and that hurts my bottom line. Content will have to regain controlling reign of this blog along with editorial upper-hand slapping. OK, I get it — so if this site remains Google-rific, will you give me back my peeare?
Dunkin’ Donuts Recalls Glow Sticks Due to Choking and Strangulation Hazards
(Wed, 17 Oct 2007 14:30:00 GMT) The recalled glow sticks are not properly labeled to warn consumers that the cap and lanyard can detach, posing a choking hazard. Additionally, the lanyard poses a strangulation hazard to young children.

We just finished gym at The Curve, and wondered, what to eat that night. We walked past TGIF and thought, hey.. don wanna eat too much to night, so we walked on. Then we realized, hey , this donut place has always got a queue, so lets try them. We checked to see if they have tables and seatings for us, the answer was YES and we sat down. While Sayang ordered, I kept busy snapping pics of this place. I am still trying to figure out how to use the new camera.... sigh !!! Okay so this place sells only donuts, unlike Dunkin Donuts, so says Sayang. This is my first time here, and I read this sign they got just outside the store. Buy A cup of Coffee , get a donut FREE !! Whoa, so nice meh ? So I ordered a cup of coffee. So they give you a normal glazed donut. Nothing special there.As for dinner , Sayang ordered a dozen donuts. Years ago when I lived in an apartment near a local donut shop, every morning I would awaken to the smell of fresh donuts being made. I’d get up, hop on my bike and ride over for a fresh bear claw or a good old glazed donut – the best I’d ever had. Of course, I’d then spend the next four hours climbing myself down from the ceiling from the sugar high I’d get.
Now that I’m older and more health-conscious do I worry about the effects of donuts, including the probable weight gain? Absolutely not.
