Surely this subject is not one of them. Wouldn't it be something if our children saw war as a thing of the pastinstead of a horrible and ever present reality?If they didn't have to see violent and disturbing images on the news?Or didn't have to ask, "Where is my mommy and daddy,don't they love me more than being a soldier?"What would our world be like if children didn't see theirparents killed in front of them or have them die in their arms?And if parents didn't have to see their child pick up a gun.What if we lived in a world where governments andpersons of power didn't exploit their own people for personal gain?I cannot stop the bullets and the bombs.I cannot bring our soldiers home.I cannot quell the suffering of the millions.I cannot overthrow a corruptgovernment and establish true democracy.I feel that I cannot be heard.Until today.Dona Nobis Pacem.Amen.

It’s the 6th of June, the day when a lot of bloggers get united in the Blog Blast for Peace!
Today is also Swedens National Day and what is better to talk about than Peace then, since Swedes are a very peace loving people!
We’ve tried to stay out from war. We don’t believe in war. No one should.
Peace is built of love. With help from compassion, caring, generosity, understanding and other positive qualities.
We’ve created this monster called war and we can destroy it. Together we can do it. We’ve all of us a responsibility to end this madness of wars going on.
Why waste so much time on such awful thing? To spread so much negativity and suffering when we can do the opposite?
Who choose to go the negative way and destroy the humanity?
Not me - and not you - I hope.
It does take two sides to start - and continue - a war.
No one will give us Peace - we have to act for Peace.
Make Love - Not War!!!

How I wish, for even one day during this holiday season, that there would be peace throughout the world. My thoughts are with all the servicemen, in all parts of the world, doing what they have been sent to do. For them, and their families who are without them, I hope this season passes quickly. I also hope for peace for all those who are ill or hospitalized, especially the little children. Please keep them in your thoughts and send a Prayer their way. I hope that every homeless person in the world can find peace and kindness during this time. Today, I join many others in the blogosphere wishing world peace for all. Thank you Mimi!
