      Barkitecture - Dog House Design
I believe the term “Barkitecture” is now an official entry in Webster’s dictionary and refers to “designer” doggie houses. I don’t know what kind of dog house your dog had when you were growing up, but when I was a kid, the choices in style and design were pretty slim. You could choose [...]

      We have the Dog House
We have six dogs (please don’t tell animal control - the rescues don’t count, anyway)… and we have a small house, which we bought without really having Home Plans. It’s only 1300 square feet. I really do like our house, though. I wish all the rooms were bigger, so the dogs fit better, and [...]

      Dog House Training Tips
When scolding your dog for doing the toilet on the carpet remember that we were once young and didn't use the proper toilet either. Your dog needs to be house trained, and this can be done in a few easy steps, but over a long time period.Dog house training may be one of the hardest training techniques as it is the one that requires the most attentiveness and work. You have to be able to read your dog’s body signals as he can not tell you when he needs the toilet. Many people make the mistake of assuming that their dog will bark when he needs the loo, sometimes they are lucky to find a dog that will but believe me there are many out there who do not and accidents are found all over the house!Dog house training requires a few simple steps as I said but they are time consuming ones. Firstly I would recommend putting newspaper in front of the door, that way if you see him doing an accident in the house you can quickly life him there and he will realize that if he needs to go and your no

Get the Perfect Pet Dog House
We all want our pet dogs to enjoy the convenience of living with us inside our homes. But then, many of us also have for our pets their dog houses, a place that is all for their own. However, more often than not, they would not want to use the dog house and insist on staying indoors. With a little prodding, it is quite easy to make your pet dog accept its house, and eventually get use to it and even love it as his own. One effective way of making your pet accept its dog house is by constantly placing its food inside its house. In due time, it will automatically go to the pet house for its food and will spend more and more time in it. When having a pet house for your dog, there are some important tips to remember. First, when placing the dog house outside, whether on the backyard or garden, you are in effect exposing your pet to the elements. So, if you live in places with rainy or cold weather, you have to make sure that the house stays dry inside, and with sufficient heat. There are

Dog House - not for me
Mum and Nan went to see another new house yesterday. They sneaked out of the house while I was asleep, and when they came back Mum was full of stories about the beautiful Boxer Dog living in the house. Her name was Mabel, and she had a big kennel in the back garden, painted blue. When they left, the dog ran to the upstairs window and stood in the window frame watching them as they left. Mum

      Caesar Loves Lucy’s Dog House!
We have the hardest time buying toys for Caesar. Most of his toys are the plush squeaky type toys. A lot of the times, Greg and I play the little 50 cent crane games to win toys for Caesar. He’s just going to chew them up anyway, why waste money on the ones on display? I’m tired of picking up polyester puffs from off of the floor, but I continue to let him have plush toys. Lucy’s Dog House has come to the rescue! Caesar just love his Hurley and Orbee-Tuff® SPORT Golf Ball. He’s like a little maniac when playing with them. They are really good interactive toys. While trying to snap pictures of him playing with the toys, he’d fetch them and toss them up into the camera like Mommy is this good enough for the review?. He was really wild with the Hurley, see… The Hurley is a stick with attitude. It can stand to be tossed, chewed, and abused. I’m not sure how long these things last, but I have a feeling Caesar’s going to have his Hurley f

      Dog House
Good news- my Nan has finally chosen a house! It is about five minutes walk from the beach and park, great for me. The house has stripped wooden floors so Nan will be able to clear my fur up easily. At the moment she has carpets and she says dog hair sticks to it like glue. There is a very sunny garden and they know I don't like the sun, so I will probably lie in the shade of the shed where I can still keep an eye on everybody.

Article Title: How To Build A Dog HouseAuthor: Robert MichaelMost of the population allow their dogs to live indoors andrelax on the couch and sleep in their owner's bed. If you areinterested in building a dog house for your dog then followthese simple tips when starting this project. 1. Start building your dog house by finding out how big youneed to make the house so when your animal reach their fulladult size they will still fit in it. We like having a coupleof feet of air above us so we don't feel claustrophobic. Yourdog will appreciate having that much room, as well. 1/3 of ourstanding height is where our comfort zone is. Take out a tapemeasure and measure your dog to find out how much room your dogwill need. To figure this out measure your dog while standingup, sitting on his haunches and in his most relaxed position oflying completely stretched out. Whether your pet is standing upor sitting he should be able to see out the front entrance. Thedog should not have to bend d

Dog House Training - tips you must know
Providing effective training for your dog from an early age is very important for a number of reasons. The most effective training method for both you and your dog will depend upon a number of factors, such as which method of training you feel most comfortable with and which method of training your dog is most responsive to. Basic dog training is available for most all breeds. Performing the correct dog training is something that will better your relationship with your dog. Dog training is definitely not rocket science and is easier than you would expect particularly if you can get help from a good dog training book or guide. Dog training is a must for ALL dogs large or small. The final major mistake we all make is thinking that the dog training is over. The main advantage of traditional dog training is the high reliability of the trained behaviors. Other advantages are that positive dog training is easy to understand and fun to carry out.
