Ok so blame Busted Coverage for putting me up on this chick. J Koot is doing 24 hours of bikini’s today. I’ve been on and off that blog all day.
Anyway, here’s some pics of Christine Mendoza rockin Dodger’s gear.

He had a lame excuse. He doesn't carry money, or at least not this time. However, the guard on the Heathrow Express allowed him to carry on, as someone paid up for him. OK for some. The press have had a field day, pointing out the ironies of it all. But I like the overseas press the best, especially The Hindu. This is what they think of "the 54-year-old mega-rich Middle East envoy"!Tony Blair may have earned millions since leaving office last year but when it came to paying his own train fare, the former British Prime Minister was found short of cash. The 54-year-old mega-rich Middle East envoy recently jumped on the Heathrow Express which allows passengers to buy a ticket on board. But when the ticket collector came round to first class, a red-faced Blair could not cough up the 24.50 pound
Check out this piece by Los Angeles Times columnist T.J. Simers. It could be a sign of things to come at other ballparks. The issue? A new rule denies fans access to the field box seat level before games to try and secure autographs at Dodger Stadium -- unless of course, they have one of those pricey tickets. Most teams allow fans down near the field up from when the gates open until a certain point before the game starts (typically 30 minutes or less). After all, being in that area is about the only way to get an autograph inside the ballpark (unless you have Scotty to beam you into the dugout or some seriously long arms out in the outfield).I understand the team's concern -- its highest-paying ticket holders have some distractions if they get to the game early -- but it's just how it's be
I see they are talking about new pay lanes on some of the UK motorways around London, like the M3 and M4. The idea is to make the outside lane chargeable in the rush hour and cars would have some kind of sensor like the TAG that's already used on the M6. I'm sure there will be big debate about this, on top of congestion charge and £25/$50 per day parking for London. But my guilty confession is that I couldn't help smiling whilst in Milan this week being driven around in big black Mercs that zip around all kinds of special lanes that bypass the normal traffic. The driver yesterday even had a black peaked cap and sunglasses. When I worked regularly used in Milan I thought that Italian traffic didn't really park, it was just momentarily at rest. Yesterday, my driver reversed up along the p

Boxing mogul, Oscar De La Hoya, wishes to propose that his next bout take place at the famous Dodger Stadium. De la Hoya hails from East Los Angeles and while only having attended Chavez Ravine for one game in his lifetime, he understands the possible impact of such a backdrop."The Dodgers are the team in L.A., it's history in the making," De La Hoya said.De La Hoya (38-5) and his business partner, Richard Schaefer of Golden Boy Promotions, have yet to officially propose the outdoor bout to Dodgers officials, although the probable May 3 date is open. The Dodgers are scheduled to play that day in Denver against the National League-champion Colorado Rockies.De La Hoya is eyeing up British icon Ricky Hatton as his next opponent, assuming "The Pryde of Hyde" does well against Floyd Mayweather, Jr. in their matchup in Vegas on Dec 8. In the history of Dodger Stadium there has been only one boxing match that took place in 1963. Unfortunately the contest was marred by the eventual death of o

Yesterday in Washington, at a climate change conference called by none other than President Bush himself, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice made the following opening statement:
I want to stress that the United States takes climate change very seriously, for we are both a major economy, and a major emitter. Climate change is a global problem, and we are contributing to it. Therefore, we are prepared to expand our leadership to address the challenge.
Rice’s statement, and the conference itself, represents a curious departure from the Bush administration’s previous stance on climate change. To backtrack, this is the same administration that in 2001 withdrew the United States from the Kyoto Protocol (the binding international measure that is by far the most aggressive “global” strategy to combat climate change to date) and has continuously dismissed climate change as without scientific validation and too economically damaging to “address.”

When we were on holiday Mum and Dad decided to take me on the Steam Train from Paignton to Kingswear, where there is a ferry over to Dartmouth. I like going on trains - there are always new people to meet and often I get a few biscuits and treats along the way. We got to the station in a rainstorm and rushed through, buying the tickets on the way. The train arrived and we got on. A few
Look where we went tonight! We had a Family Baseball Night at Dodger Stadium. We are big Dodger fans so, we surprised the kids and off we went. It was a Super Exciting Game, although the Dodgers lost by one run. They came back in the seventh inning and caught up. It was so fun with the kids and we all lost our voices from Screaming. We all ate too much too. What a Fun Summer evening with the Family. Tomorrow is School clothes shopping for Miss Emily and Grandma, so it will be three generations shopping at the mall for clothes. Actually, not a Pretty sight, Emily Hates whatever I like so it should be interesting, Wish me Luck. Hope everyone is having a great Weekend.
I know this is the 2nd Dodgers/Canada post of the week, but this story needs to be mentioned. During Saturday’s Dodgers-Blue Jays game there was an altercation in the stands between Dodgers security and a group of Canadian ex-pats waving a Canadian flag.
It started during the 6th inning when a Dodgers employee attempted to confiscate a Canadian flag from a fan because the Dodgers Fan Code of Conduct prohibits “signs or banners of any kind.” The fan happened to be the head of a California social group called Canadians Abroad (”Growing Pains” very own Alan Thicke is a member) which sometimes sponsors outings to local sporting events. When the fan refused to give up the flag Dodgers security found themselves face to face with a horde of angry Canadians.
The ensuing dispute involved arguments about things such as the First Amendment and Canada’s role in Afghanistan. One couple was ejected from the game and another woman claims she was shoved by secu
Heeeeeeey! For those who were worried, my stalker didn't come kill me and my job hasn't (yet) forced me to jump out of an eight-story window. In my quest to party all the time, party all the time, party all the tiiii-iiiime whilst I'm still in DC, I spent the last few nights in the club. I'm soooo angry- I have to work tonight from 4 to God-knows-when. And I'm supposed to be taking my boo, Chris Brown, to the prom!!!! This is so unfair. Hopefully, some friendly mice will scatter about my feet and my fairy godmother will turn my cell phone into a Christler 300 and off I will go. Speaking of mice, why was there a baby one chillin' on my doorstep the other night when I came home? Just looking at me like "You ain't get no take-out? Damn! I'm sick of Triscuit crumbs! Now open up, I have some disease to spread." I kicked at him and then I just sat outside for about five minutes looking all types of stupid. What if there was a mice party inside, and this one had got put out for disord

In recent seasons you have not been able to enjoy a cold beer in the bleachers at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. That's set to change this year for at least part of the cheap seats.Bleacher seats have long been a place for fans who want to spend under $10 and still get to see a Major League Baseball game. I've done it a couple of times in Yankee Stadium and at Coors Field in Denver, and found it a pretty good place to watch a game. In a number of stadiums beer sales in the bleachers have been banned in recent years. All it takes is some fool dumping their $7 plastic cup of suds on a $7 million outfielder and you get demands for a ban on beer in the bleachers. The Los Angeles Dodgers are marketing an all you can eat ticket for the Right Field Pavilion at Dodger Stadium. For $35 in advance or $40 on game day you can get a tacket and all of the hotdogs, nachos, peanuts and soft drinks you can handle. You are also allowed to buy beer.It would appear that someone in the Dodgers organizatio

I have a 2500D and know it will fit in the case but was wondering if someone knew of a good place to buy one a bit more reasonably, less than 135. Or if there is another alternative for a roller bag.
I have an extralarge scrapbook bag that worked for my other machine but not this Large Marge, her nickname.
It does have a hard case cover and handle but I have a little back trouble sometimes so need a cart.
Yeah I know, if she can afford a 2500 she can afford the 135. But hey it can't hurt to ask. I'm as frugal as the next. Thanks.Last post by Portia Hirschman at Sun 27 Apr 2008 07:36:23 PM Total posts: 7
