The historic field was the venue for the Gold cup final between our very own national team and Mexico's national team. This is the first time this stadium is played host to a Gold Cup Final. About 62,000 fans witnessed the U.S. national team lift the Gold Cup trophy today in Chicago. Last year the Gold cup final was held at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford N.J.
