Hi kids... I'm going to be shooting photos at a concert this weekend; some really talented guys I know are doing a tribute to Queen. Their band is called Queen Nation. Now, Queen is long gone, and Freddie Mercury, the flamboyant, incredible singer is long dead. But their music lives on, and there are many of us old folks who still love a good dose of Keep Yourself Alive or Tie Your Mother Down.Qu
Those of you who are long-tie readers of TFTS who happen to have especially good memories may recall that we featured another somewhat curious safe (known as a ‘Diversion Safe’) back in March ’07 that’s styled to resemble a lettuce and now we have this Bread Diversion Safe to add ...
Muynak was once a thriving fishing port on the Aral Sea. But today, according to James Rupert of the Washington Post, Muynak sits on the edge of a bitter, salty desert. Sand dunes are strewn with the rusted, hollow hulls of a fishing fleet that once sailed high above on the surface of Central Asia's fountain of life.Things began changing many years ago when Stalinist planners began diverting the A
I came across a new (well its new to me) online game site that allows you to try and win cash prizes. Unlike other games which tease you with a “jackpot” this is more straight-forward in that the “games” are puzzles that need to be solved. Members of the site have unlimited chances to attempt [...]

A Creep Crept Into The Crypt & Crapped revealed how the self-righteous idiot challenged me to cite an ayeh commanding him to attack his neighbors. I responded with Al-Taubah 123 and Ibn Kathir's Tafsir of that ayeh. Observe the idiot's response, how it can only attack the messenger & divert attention; it can not refute the clear & obvious imperative of Allah as expressed in 9:123 Quote me a SINGLE verse from the Qur'an that IN ITS CONTEXT tells me, an American Muslim, to wage war upon my non-Muslim neighbors. You can do no such thing.[...] Shibli Zaman | Homepage | 03.20.08 - 3:25 am | # 9:123. O you who believe! Everyone I've talked to agrees that Easter is too early this year. Not that we can help it. St. Patrick's Day and Easter in the same week is wrong. The presence of two parades of that magnitude in New York City in the same week is wrong. With the winter chill still lingering, wool coat collars turned up against the wind, I'm not feeling appropriately pastel. I'm willing, nevertheless, to make the best of the situation at hand. In that spirit, I decided that nothing would be better this afternoon than a winter cup of hot chocolate with a couple of melting yellow Peeps. It's prettier and tastier than I imagined, and the Peeps looked sweet during their final sleep of drowning chocolate death.Edible Easter Creations in the CityIn strolling about the city, I've taken note of some of the fine East

Well, I've managed to get my mind-a-reeling doing something I shouldn't do..... asking Dr. Google for his take on yesterday's numbers. And after I did I freaked myself out with the possibilities good and bad.Now that I've slept on it, I have a new perspective. I will handle whatever comes my way, one day at a time. The next day being Friday, for blood draw number 3. Assuming that it goes ok (I hate to assume anything with my history) I am betting they will have me in for my first u/s next Tuesday (I would be 5w3d).Until then, I am going to try to stop googling, and come up with some creative ways to fill the time.Any ideas?? lol.

There have been so many fucked up searches leading to this blog that I just have to do this. Ladies and gentlemen, or whatever you really are, we now take a detour from our story to present the LAST...

It’s now two days after the ruthless bombing of Glorietta mall last Friday which killed 11 and hurt more than a hundred others. Still, the investigations have brought up nothing conclusive despite a terror group’s claiming responsibility for the atrocity.
But already, not a few people have expressed the opinion that the bombing was perpetrated by the Palace to divert the public’s attention from the controversies hounding it - particularly the NBN scandal, impeachment, and the bribing of congressmen and governors.
Some members of the political opposition, particularly Senator Trillanes, have also issued statements consciously spreading this line.
I do not agree with this assertion.

I know that something is quite fishy with that larger than life PAC visit to Port Klang Free Zone yesterday.I have voiced it in one of my posts earlier today. I’m pretty glad that MalaysiaKini even suspected it as much in one of their postings today. I’m also pretty glad that Malaysians are not that easily fooled nowadays. :-)We have so many impacting issues plaguing the nation recently:The Pantai Batu Buruk incidentThe Lingam Tape video sagaThe pathetic decline of Press Freedom in Malaysia as indicated by Reporters Without Borders Dot Org’s Press Freedom Index 2007 andThe astonishing law suit won by an ex ISA detainee against the world’s greatest government! All those significant events are giving bad PR for Barisan Nasional. Most of my foreign friends said that Malaysia is getting pretty ridiculous by the minute. Just imagine; our own country is giving shame to its very citizens! Much of it can be blamed upon Barisan Nasional though.Barisan Nasional is desperately looking for
Folks!I’m sure you noticed that both MalaysiaKini and StarOnline had juicy stories on Port Klang Free Zone yesterday. Well, not exactly juicy since we all ready knew that the multi billion dollar project is having lots of critical problems at the moment. There is nothing new really except for the fact that the Public Accounts Committee is now expecting to hear the final word from the Port Klang Authority and Port Klang Fee Zone on the final cost of the project which reportedly has ballooned to extraordinary proportions.I find it weird. Why all of a sudden we have this Port Klang Free Zone story back into the spotlight?I’m not buying it folks.I got this feeling that the powers that be have just created a clever strategic diversion to divert the Malaysian public’s attention from more pressing issues such as the Lingam Tape saga.No thanks, Barisan Nasional. I would stick with the Lingam Tape saga for the time being. If we can find out what is really going on behind the Lingam Tape sa

With the release of the Reno 911! Miami The Movie Unrated DVD there are 4 fun online games you can play at the Reno 911! Miami The Movie DVD page. So far I have played two of the games, I played the Midnight Shootout game where you are given your weapon, view a scene for 5 seconds then blindfolded and then you have ten rounds to unload, don't hit any civilians. This was a fun game because you can hit a bunch of things that you don't see and get extra bonus points. At the end you get a rocket launcher and basically wreak havoc on downtown Miami. The game that I am playing today is called Calling All Units. I picked this one because it looked like a fun little way to distract myself. You are in a patrol car that has the worst handling ever, I believe they say something about it handling like it was driving through warm fudge. So it is hard to control. You have to cruise through the city grid to get to different crimes. But along the way you cause all sorts of property damage. I have pla
Mornings in our house prove to be a challenge. As I hate getting up, and dear hubs is an early riser we constantly bicker over the fact that I am a notorious snoozer. The snooze button is my dealer; I am addicted. One any given day, I will hit snooze three times. THREE. TIMES. This drives Mike to the brink of insanity since the first one wakes him then he's up for the day; not to mention the fact
I finished my project this afternoon. Excuse the glare on the face, but I varnished the face to protect it from getting dirty. I've added the embellishments, her earring and some glass leaves attached to the chain on her wrist, like charms. The wrap is finished of with a tube of fabric stuffed with batting, then wrapped with fibres. To finish off, I used some trim around her face and a gold trim
Well, here I am at step 3. I thought I would show you all where my album is at. At this point I've add her hand in felt and added a gold braclet. I'm not sure that I will add more to the gloved hand, but only time will tell. I tend to wander all over a project when I'm working. It's like someone is taking my hands and guiding me through the process, so to my creative muse, I thank you..... The
Here is the next step of the album cover. I've painted the face now, she looks so intense doesn't she. The holes where the threads were aren't completely covered, but hopefully that won't be so visible once the whole project is together. I so love the profile of this design. It's, in my opinion, very elegant. The hat is the next step of the picture and I have a different idea than the pattern
I've been so busy with making dolls lately I decided a little diversion was in order. I'm finally getting busy and making a photo album for my doll pictures. Nothing says organized like pictures in an album... The first step is pretty simple but effective. I found a perfect size of album at the local dollar store. The next thing was "what to do to the album to make it more creative". I put it

One possible way to collect bad checks is to submit them to your local District Attorney’s office. Some prosecutors have a special “bogus check” check program (also known as a “worthless check” or “check diversion” program). These programs typically are free, do require some paperwork from business owners, but can be very effective. If your business gets a lot of bounced checks, this is probably not the best way to process your bad checks. A free way to collect multiple bad business checks is to use a collection service, one of which is described on http://www.bumchecks.com/ (this web site discusses NorthStar Technologies, a national check recovery service for returned checks). If you are a District Attorney and are thinking of starting a check diversion program, NorthStar can actually outsource this for you for free. Using NorthStar allows your office to free up resources and staff while your office still shares in the revenue from bad check collection (see NorthStar’s
