Dear Ringo,First off: Can I call you Ringo? I've always considered you the down-to-earth Beatle, so writing this letter to Richard "Ringo Starr" Starkey, Member of the Order of the British Empire, just seems too fussy. At least it did until yesterday, when I watched your new Web site video, in which you shared a "serious message to everybody watching" that you would no longer accept fan mail."Noth
Well, the report has been released and-to no one's surprise- the Governor acted legally and within her power to fire safety commissioner Walt Monegan. End of story, right? No.Apparently, Sarah Palin's enemies (some Republicans) decided that nailing Sarah Palin was the only option. So, since they could not find any action that was illegal, they created the most bizarre argument to claim that it was
I’ve heard disgruntled employees of Gamestop/EB Games vent their frustrations online on forums or even commenting on game related topics. However, one particular ex-employee, who goes by the name, “WhistleBlowerZero“, had decided to express his displeasure with his former company by creating a 9 video series in the style of Ben “Yahtzee” Croshaw’s Zero [...]

Sharon Osbourne announced yesterday that she is leaving the X Factor show after a four year run. SharonÂs decision does not come as a surprise to many who have been speculating that she was unhappy during the past season. Popular: 1 days 11 hours 13 minutes ago source: (bittenandbound.com)
As has been discussed, the Bush administration is trying to dismiss Scott McClellan as a "disgruntled" ex-employee, rather than dealing with the substance of what he has to say. The administration's disgraceful, but not surprising, attempt to change the subject got me thinking about who else is fed up with the administration's "permanent campaign" approach to governing, its decision to lead u
Mark Cannizzaro of the New York Post has learned that the Jets reluctance to renegotiate the contract of tight end Chris Baker has left the team without their starting tight end through the early part of the Organized Team Activities.

Is Nintendo actively poaching indie developers out from under Microsoft and Xbox Live Arcade? One report says yes, it is.Is the rug about to be yanked out from under XBLA?The future of Nintendo's WiiWare game download service is still very much unknown, but that hasn't stopped the company from greasing the wheels with back room deals meant to entice small and medium-sized developers under their wing.Their first target? Disgruntled Xbox Live Arcade developers, and in this case the house that Mario built isn't playing its usual game of family friendly fun -- they're playing hardball.U.K.-based Develop magazine reports that as Nintendo prepares for the North American WiiWare launch on May 12, it is "actively briefing studios" on what makes the service such a great platform to make titles for.
MENTAL STATUS: "Excited". Getting my new window treatments today. Woo-hoo! (I'll be sure to post my before and afters)I think I mentioned that I went to my mom's the other day. We had a nice visit, did a little shopping, a lot of gabbing, etc... Then we came back to her condo around lunchtime. She told me she made some soup I had to try. That was cool with me. I like soup. I was hungry. Plus, she offered to serve it with a nice hunk of fresh bread.Let me tell you, this soup wasn't good. Uh-uh. No, not merely good. It was awesomely outrageous. So I asked her, "What kind of soup is this?""I don't know. Chicken soup," she answered.Hmmm. "Ok," I said. "Well, I think I want to make this this week for dinner. How did you make it?"So she proceeded to tell me. "Well, take chicken thighs and put t
I can understand getting angry when you get thrown out of somewhere (especially if alcohol is involved), but you have to be a complete idiot to set someone on fire for it.tag: crime, Blogpower, LordNazh
We’re in trouble team.
I don’t envy the people at Rockstar: thank God it’s them not us is all I can say. They’ve really overstepped the line this time! Not only have they been encouraging craven violence by releasing a game where it’s possible to run people over, but now they’ve included a mission where you can kill an attention seeking lawyer whose only crime was to speak out against all the fireballs that Mario players have been throwing since the early 90s.
I wasn’t going to buy GTA4 on release (they haven’t made any really dramatic improvements in game play since GTA3 in my opinion, and it’s just not as interesting as Saints’ Row was), but I’m more likely to having read about a mission which indicates Rockstar North’s sense of satirical humour. No I didn’t buy Bully or Manhunt, I’m not going to, and I’m not touching Manhunt 2 with a bargepole. But if the rest of GTA4 is going to have that fla
I love eBay auctions where parents sell their children’s belongings to teach them a lesson. Back in my day, you would have something taken away and hidden for a bit. You may even get the threat of the beloved item being thrown away. In these cases, you could usually find the thrown away item in the back of a closet or up on a shelf in the garage. Lucky for me, eBay wasn’t around then.
I’m selling a bunch of Pokemon cards. Why? Because my kids sneaked them into my shopping cart while at the grocery store and I ended up buying them because I didn’t notice they were there until we got home. How could I have possibly not noticed they were in my cart, you ask? Let me explain.
You haven’t lived until you’ve gone grocery shopping with six kids in tow. I would rather swim, covered in bait, through the English Channel, be a contestant on Fear Factor when they’re having pig brains for lunch, or do fourth grade math than to take my six kids to the g
This is the first time i have reviewed a site and its a not a paid review, but i really enjoyed and laughed at this site. Disgruntled Workforce is a blog fed by the readers and their real life experiences.
The Site has rants and raves from disgruntled employees broken down into jobs or topics, you can find things from Airlines, sex, quit, teachers to unemployed. You can spent a good hour just reading what people have to say.
Heres a few classic ones:
I am Ridiculously Bored at Work
My Boss is Screwing my secretary
You look like a tool with your new iphone
i'm a doctors verbal punching bag
There are many more and some cool videos added too.
Myself coming from the construction industry, i just couldn't resist to read what other people are saying about their jobs. Surprisingly, i could relate myself to quite a few of the articles and especially the one about the old computers, the bloody printers printing slower than you could probably write and the photocopier that jams more than it

In what's becoming an annual ritual for die-hard Pittsburgh Pirates fans, the mass is once again left feeling hopeless for any kind of competitive ball to speak of. The true fans who don't just spend idle time at one of the most gorgeous parks in all of sports for some fireworks and pierogie races, are sick -- and god damn tired -- of their ignorant team ownership group. Over at The Parrot life-long Bucs fan, Steve, is spitting invective toward Pirates' ownership. This is a tough time of year for fans of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Once again, all hope is truly lost that the team will contend for anything other than last place in the National League Central. The heart of the fan finally realizes what the brain knew all along- that with current ownership, the Bucs are going nowhere. From a baseball standpoint, it has worked this way ever since Kevin McClatchy and the Nutting family made the deal to purchase the team. Profits first! Hire a General Manager with no track record and doubtful t
Mud In The Digital Age - Imagine: One disgruntled, tech-savvy voter breaks into a presidential candidate's website and plays a dirty trick, destroying a campaign. Impossible? Inevitable. - The Boston GlobeExcerpt:"On Tuesday, March 27, about nine months before anyone would cast a vote in anger in the 2008 presidential campaign, there was some surprisingly straight talk on the MySpace page of one John McCain, who, according to that very same page, is a 70-year-old man from Phoenix, Arizona. Beneath his picture, there was a message to the people who were supporting his bid to become president of the United States.“Dear Supporters,” it read. “Today I announce that I have reversed my position and come out in full support of gay marriage – particularly marriage between passionate females.”Tiny shock waves radiated. McCain heretofore had been an opponent of gay marriage. (In truth, it must be said that McCain may well have been consistently in favor of passionate females. The man
HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. — Pete Kendall was down on one knee on the sideline away from the rest of his teammates, his left hand cupping his chin as he stared out at the field.
The New York Jets’ first-team offense ran through drills Thursday while the veteran offensive lineman barely appeared to be a part of the team. If Kendall gets his wish, he won’t be for much longer.
Kendall has asked the Jets to trade or release him because of a bitter contract dispute, and his frustration and more…
I was surfing the blog-o-sphere today and stumbled upon this post by Kate Goldwater. It’s an interesting read. Apparently, Kate has tried out for Project Runway and made it to Tim Gunn twice, where he then rejected her.
And she’s pissed.
At first, I thought this “letter” post was a bit ignorant. I mean, everyone thinks that their own work is great, but come on. Thousands of people try out for Project Runway and only 15 make it. They obviously were looking for someone other than you. Get over it.
Upon re-reading it again, I see her point as well. I’ve been rejected in the past and it’s totally a slap in the face. And why was she rejected? She notes that she has not been to design school and that her design philosophy is unusual, but I suspect that neither of those things were the problem…I suspect that the problem was that they are looking for a certain combination of contestants (x number of girls, x number of boys, the “villain,&rdquo
It's not often that I stumble upon a story that snowballs, but the tragic tale of Pakistan cricket coach Bob Woolmer is doing exactly that.
Last Sunday, the day after his team was eliminated from the Cricket World Cup with a loss to Ireland, Woolmer was found unconscious in his hotel room. He was rushed to a local hospital, but died shortly thereafter.
I had picked up on the Ireland-Pakistan
Indonesia's Olympic champion Taufik Hidayat has withdrawn from next month's All England championships after falling out with his country's badminton association, state media reported on Tuesday.Hidayat said he did not agree with the association's decision to allow two men's double pairs to compete at the tournament despite the fact they had broken regulations."It's a shame because I have prepared well," he was quoted as saying by Antara news agency.
I went to the Crewe ASi meeting last night, the fans' group. The venue was the North Ward club, so chat about the club was done over a few pints. Nice and steady. Now the ASi do loads of good work, promoting issues on behalf of supporters, raising cash for local charities and, where possible, helping the Alex to improve the matchday experience. It's a slog. They do well to sustain the enthusiasm. Anyway, last night was all about the forthcoming AGM - scheduled for the Signals Lounge (at the ground) this Thursday night, kicking off at about 7.30pm. As well as running through and accepting the latest published accounts there is a question and answer session, where club officials (in theory) face the fans and address any issues and concerns. There's a big, long list this season!Seriously, on last night's showing, I have never met so many fans who are concerned about the club's board of directors, how the club is being run and what might happen over the next 12-18 months. There is zer
