Not so far ago, Casio showed the "incredible" fastest digital camera on the world. The ability cannot be hesistant anymore. It will make you possible to take 60 photo per minute in full resolution. For additonal info, this unnamed camera for temporary time is called Casio Exilim. It have 6.6 megapixel resolution and 12x large optical zoom. Not just it, Casio Exilim can take 300 jpeg format pics in second, but, there will not taken in full resolution. Ok, nothing perfect in this world.Casio Exilim does not record .jpeg format file in separated file, but combine it with (640 x 480 pixels) VGA image, and will be record as a movie with motion JPEG format. Every picture can be seen by pausing the motion, then you can display it picture by picture. You also will found the pre-shoot function in this camera, this function makes you possible to take any high-speed moving object although you can't quick enough to push the button. This will help you to take unpresumed event that you won't to
Hip. Hot. With-it. Is that Fuji? Someone insides Fuji says yes and offers the Z10FD as proof. This 3x optical zoom (zzzzzz) has 7MP capacity and a 2.5″ lcd screen. Doesn’t sound too hip right?
Any press release with the words “blog” or “cool” should start raising flags. This release has them in spades.
So what is hip?
Well, it has a mode that will convert your 7MP image to web-standard size, saving you valuable PC time so you can upload easily to MySpace or your blog. It has IR beaming so you can load up your shots on someone else’s device. I am not sure that is a feature. I find I don’t want most of the pics I’ve saved, much less someone else’s hogging up memory space. The camera does do a neat trick by allowing one card slot to support 2 different memory types (xD and SD/HC)
It has face recognition, 1600 ISO and a varying flash to prevent white over-load, which is a great feature. It also features a dual shot mo

The Canon SD800 IS Elph/IXUS is a complete joy to use. As far as digicams go, it's kinda hard to find one that beats this one in terms of speed and quality. Coming in at 7.1MP, the camera's DigicIII processor really churns through the images and video clips! I had originally bought an Olympus 725SW digital camera, but after a disappointing performance, I returned it in favor of this camera, the SD800 IS.
Speed. Fast Enough To Catch A Speeding Daughter!
Seriously, the main concern was being able to take a decent picture of our active daughter, both indoors and out. This camera is able to do that! Granted, some issues with the flash firing and over exposing her face, but it was able to actually capture a photo of her, of the expression we wanted to capture, not one 2-3 seconds after. With this, we were quite satisfied.

Gifting Is A Challenging Process
Buying a gift for someone is always a challenging process. Not because people are just hard to shop for, but rather, because it is easy to fall into the "what would _I_ want" trap. That is the case with me, since I love photography, I tend to look for a camera I would like, or interpret the requirements the way I want them to sound.
So it was, that I was buying my wife a new digicam. Something small, that fits in the purse/pocket, is fast enough to photograph our ferret-like daughter, and is fairly resilient. That is, childproof.

Sony Announces Its First Wireless Digicam
Although some big names have banked on wireless digital cameras going mainstream—namely, Kodak, Nikon, and Canon—Sony has opted to stay disconnected from the trend, at least until today.
Sony launched its first wireless digital point-and-shoot ultracompact camera, the six-megapixel Cyber-shot DSC-G1, which will be able to use an infrastructure connection to 802.11b and g networks to send images over Wi-Fi networks. Sony also claims the camera will also be able to communicate (via peer-to-peer or ad-hoc connections) with other Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA)-enabled devices, such as another camera or a PC.

Digicams - most commonly known as digital cameras - are cameras that can take still photos and short videos using a digital method that records the images onto a light-sensitive sensor and then transfers them onto a removable chip.
