The cast of the Grey's Anatomy spinoff starring Kate Walsh and Taye Diggs is really clicking, Diggs tells PEOPLE.
"They're great. We have really great chemistry," Diggs, 36, said of his castmates Thursday at the opening of the new club Runway in New York City.
The initial episode has "just finished" filming, he said, "and we're hoping people dig it."
ABC plans to test out the show with a "back-door pilot," an expanded two-hour episode of Grey's, Reuters reported in February. No air date for the episode has been set.
Diggs, who said he plays a "general practitioner" on the show, was coy when asked if he could reveal any key plot details.

The application, which will easily integrate onto your Vista desktop apparently allows to stay up-to-date with the latest Tiësto news in both an innovative and interactive way, as well as follow him on tour in a dynamic surrounding. You can also listen to the music and watch the videos in your own virtual DJ booth. People who have already installed Vista OS on their computers can download the application for free on tiesto.com.
All we can say is that this is a very smart PR stunt from both Tiësto and Microsoft. But the question remains unanswered: how much he got paid for this? According to CNN, the software giant is apparently spending USD $500 million on Vista marketing campaign. What about Reebok?
