The Revolution hasn’t been that thrilled with Dini’s work on Countdown to Final Crisis. However, Dini’s run on Detective Comics has been quite enjoyable. Dini has done a good job winning me over to his one-shot issue method of storytelling on this title. I think the longest story arc he has given us has been two issues. I’m mad at John Rozum and I shouldn’t be. Even if the lame ending was his idea… there’s really no other way to end his two issue arc, because he’s not writing the third issue. Rozum, like most fill-in writers I’d assume (how would I know–I avoid most DC comics like the plague), writes an intelligent, engaging script, one harkening back to the simpler, more serialized, less trade-oriented days of yesteryear. The Scarecrow decides he isn’t scary enough and goes crazy on Gotham City. At one point, Gordon says he’s gotten worse than the Joker… I mean, it’s a great set-up for a new team on a book. Maybe I’m just irate because Rozum’s doing a fill-in.The good things: Rozum’s Gotham City is alive in a particular, self-sustaining way. John is so very determined to fry Lindsay and the strange thing is that he’s more adamant about her serving time more than Nora. If there was anyone who would love for her be in the situation, it would be Nora and John should just not get too involved. I know that Spencer challenged him to solve it and John always rises to a challenge, but it seems way too fanatical. The fact that Nora has moved on, from the past, is great because her character is developing and she isn’t the typical static soap character. I’m very interested to see what direction this new head writer has for the conclusion of this very long storyline.

In FMIS (the National Heritage Boards database of ancient monuments and remains) it is stated that the rune stone that was found when the old church of Skatelöv were demolished in 1820 is in the collections at Smålands Museum (Museum of Smaland). A few years ago it was moved to the new church in Skatelöv.
