The 19th Imus Radiothon raised $1.2 million by the end of the show today, according to the Imus Truth Blog. The total represents a $1.1 million dip from last year's total. But, consider this: In every year before this year, all the other shows on WFAN continued the radiothon after Imus in the Morning. On WABC, it was only Imus' show that had the radiothon. None of the other shows picked up.So, with that in mind, $1.2 million for eight hours of radiothoning it is quite impressive.Of course, there will be Imus detractors who say the dip is indicative of the new Imus. I just learned that my opps depends on the categories I chose for my blog. So, I only get the opps under them. Anyway, this 2 posts in between that blogitive requires to do, is really a hassle, and then on top of it all, they offer only half of what others offer. Boy, what a bummer.
