From the Huffington Post: "The breadth and length of Kucinich's articles are astonishing. They sum up Bush's evil reign succinctly and to hear them recited on the floor of Congress makes me wonder how America could have possibly put up with this despotic murderer and thief for so long."read more | digg story

Dennis Kucinich introduces 35 articles of impeachment against Bush
I caught a bit of this live on C-Span yesterday, and I think it’s about damn time. Of course this isn’t going anywhere, but it’s nice to see my favorite congressmen up there saying what myself and millions of other people think. As readers of this blog may remember, I supported Kucinich in the Democratic primary [...]

Why I still heart Dennis Kucinich
He has introduced 35 impeachment articles against George Bush. This is his second attempt to start impeachment procedures against George Bush (he abandoned another attempt earlier this year). I have no doubt that there will be no impeachment of George Bush, but it feels good to know that there’s at least one of our person [...]

      DailyKos Disrespects Dennis Kucinich
You read the headline correctly. Last night I was on DailyKos and I noticed a diary slamming Kucinich titled "Dennis Kucinich: Great Ideas, but still a damn bozo". Usually I only visit DailyKos to read the diaries and recommend the good ones, but this was one I had to comment on because it was just plain disrespectful and many of the comments were also. For a while I have had problems with DailyKos, but never felt the need to vent my frustration up until last night. Rather then retyping everything I'm just going to quote what I said. You can find my comments near the bottom of the page under the name "TrueProgressive".Me: Kossacks; Democrats taking Kucinich for Granted I've lost respect for the Kos community because I always thought this site was to fight for progressive

Dennis Kucinich Plans Department of Peace
Democratic presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich elaborated on his plan to create a Department of Peace should he win the White House in 2008."With me in charge as commander in chief, we really don't need to worry about bad guys. We'll just put more resources into my Department of Peace and then we'll spread love, not war. Believe me, I can handle it." "We'll be like Barney. We'll still have our gun -- the U.S. military that is --but we just won't have any bullets in our gun. That's what the Department of Peace will be about."

Dennis Kucinich To Introduce Resolution for the Impeachment of Dick Cheney
From Dennis Kucinich’s web site: Kucinich Will Introduce Privileged Resolution To Force Up Or Down Vote On Cheney Impeachment Washington, Nov 2 - Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) announced today that he will be offering a privileged resolution on the House floor next week that will bring articles of impeachment against the Vice President, Richard B. Cheney. “The momentum is building for impeachment,” Kucinich said. “Millions of citizens across the nation are demanding Congress rein in the Vice President’s abuse of power. “Despite this groundswell of opposition to the unconstitutional conduct of office, Vice President Cheney continues to violate the U.S. Constitution by insisting the power of the executive branch is supreme. “Congress must hold the Vice President accountable. The American people need to let Members of Congress know how they feel about this. The Vice President continues to use his office to advocate for a continued occupation of Iraq

      Dennis Kucinich's Birthday Party
Today, Monday October 8th, is Dennis Kucinich's birthday. In Earth years he is now 61 years old, but, as he referes to himself, he is only 32 Martian years old. Those who attended his special birthday party at the planetarium played games, ate fruitcake and watched Dennis giggle as he opened his gifts. The bipartisan meeting of sorts saw party organiser Ron Paul pass out the kool aid and special invitee Bashar al-Assad of Syria offer to help Dennis blow up the candles. When asked what he wished for when he blew out his 32 candles, Dennis said he wouldn't tell. However, eye witnesses have claimed that he silently mumbled "I wish, I wish, I wish I could be His Excellency's pet."

Dennis Kucinich Should Stay In Syria
Welcome to backwards world, or, as most people know it, the world of Dennis Kucinich. In a recent interview with Syrian TV station MemriTV, krazy Kookcinich did nothing short of degrade the United States in regards to Iraq while applauding Syria and encouraging Iran. Kucinich even began to outline his genius peace-keeping plan which includes the "help of Syria and Iran" to "bring in an international peace-keeping force" into Iraq while American troops move out.Exactly what does Kucinich think either of these countries knows about establishing peace? Syria is a haven and known supplier of weaponry for insurgents who cross over an unchecked border into Iraq to fight US and coalition forces, a known contributor to several terrorist organizations, and known to have assassinated former Lebanese prime minister Rafik al-Hariri. And, I'm sure we all know that Iran isn't exactly peaceful either, just Google 'Iran' and 'nuclear weapons'. Did Kucinich not get the memo? Two more Kookcinich sta

Dennis Kucinich and his Peace through Strength parable
As you know Dennis Kucinich' campaign slogan is the Jesus Christ-like paradox, "strength through peace." What you didn't know was that he only decided on his version of the WWJD bumper sticker after a long selection process. Asymmetric has acquired a list of the top five slogans rejected by the Kucinich campaign: 1. Width through height. 2. Losing weight through overeating. 3. Victory through surrender. 4. More efficient health care through government management. 5. Freedom through regulation.

Dennis Kucinich and Cindy Sheehan: Republicans’ New Hope for Winning the 2008 Presidential Election
The Democrats may have unleashed a hornet’s nest of harsh criticism that may be impossible to impede. This time the condemnation is not coming from Conservatives, but from the liberal lunatic base. Recently, after realizing that the Democrats only care about power, Cindy Sheehan announced the possibility of running against Nancy Pelosi for the House of Representatives in the next election. Sheehan conditioned her running on whether or not Nancy Pelosi impeaches George Bush and brings the soldiers home from Iraq. While this threat will never cause Nancy Pelosi to bend, it does have very important implications for the 2008 Presidential Election. Like Ralph Nader’s impact in the 2000 election, Sheehan and her supporters may stay home in 2008 or vote for an unelectable third candidate. Consequently, the Democrats will be forced to seek independent voters to come to their side, which often leads to disappointment. Moreover, this recent phenomenon with Sheehan and Pelosi is ve

Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Oh) moves to Impeach VP Dick Cheney
Dennis Kucinich will announce articles of impeachment against Dick Cheney. On what grounds?: “One, they misled the nation into war, an aggressive and illegal war that has obviously been catastrophic,” Park said. “They are currently violating the 1978 Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act” by ordering wiretap warrants without FISA court approval and they are committing torture in violation of the Geneva Conventions. Same old story again, Bush lied people died. It doesn’t matter if everyone thought the intellegence was correct throughout the ’80’s and ’90’s. All that matters is revenge for President Clinton’s impeachment. If you want to have a trial for impeachment because the president is trying to protect the American people, I have only one thing to say: BRING IT ON

I havn't had the desire to go taco hunting lately. It may be the cold weather at night that is keeping me in. But it's also the fact that my friend the Fabulous Kiwi Simmons whom on occasions serves as my co-pilot has refused to join me on anymore taco journeys until I admit that Dennis Kucinich is a viable Presidential candidate. Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH-10) on the Department of Peace:
"Mr. Speaker, yesterday a bill was introduced into the House of Representatives that gives the promise of transforming our country and the world. H.R. 808 creates a Department of Peace and Nonviolence. It is now supported by 52 Members of the House of Representatives, and it is supported by groups who yesterday came to Washington representing 45 States. Mr. Speaker, if you were to look at this clerk's desk, just around the corner you will see engraved right into the desk of the clerk of the House of Representatives the word ``peace.'' Peace is a foundational principle of this Congress and of this country, and the bill gives it a chance to have an animating power in our civic life by addressing...all of those concerns we have both domestically and internationally."--Feb. 6, 2007.

Dennis Kucinich Refused To Partake Secret Meeting With The House
Dennis Kucinich refused to partake the secret meeting that the House's members suggested to have one.  Dennis Kucinich thinks this secret meeting has to do with FISA.  Kucinich thinks this secret meeting has no benefit as it may cause more controversy than necessary.  Whatever is not so transparent, it's definitely a bad thing for a democracy.  The secret meeting makes us wonder about what will the House decides in secret.  Will the House finally succumb to Bush?  Will the House finally gives immunity to Telcos?
