Denise Richards revealed explosive accusations against ex-husband Charlie Sheen. Richard is asking the court to terminate Sheen's overnight privileges with their two daughters ages 2 (Lola) and 3 (Sam). Richards wants "the assistance of the court to obtain orders to protect her children" from Sheen. Accordingly Richards claims that Sheen exhibits "inappropriate behaviour.. and conduct" including his attraction to underage women and his sexual explicitness on the internet and this includes revealing his private parts".

Denise Richards was born in Downers Grove, Illinois to Joni Richards (mother), a coffee shop owner, and Irv Richards (father), a telephone engineer. There is one other sibling, a sister and her name is Michelle. Richards graduated from El Camino High School in 1989, located in Oceanside, California. She was part of the cheerleader team.

Before becoming an actress, Denise Richards was a model.
