When tough guy interviewer Bill O'Reilly had his much anticipated interview with Hillary last week, Hillary stated flatly, "We can not win militarily in Iraq." This answer, like so many others, went unchallenged. Despite the fact that we are in the process of a military win in Iraq. Can you spell surge? The media and the Democrats are largely silent on Iraq these days. Unless its to celebrate the anniversary of the Bush photo op declaring "Mission Accomplished". Or to throw roadblocks in the way of the, now successful, surge. Or to keep the body count in the public eye. Or to demand we withdraw our troops from Iraq. Or to appear fiscally conservative by trying to hold up funding for our soldiers. I guess that money could be better spent funding Hillary's $2.3B in earmarks. Or by funding Ala
Democrats love to tax, tax, tax. There is no secret to that, we all know it is true. "Intractable Quagmire" is a term Democrats employed several times over the last 5 years. Now, they are in one. It is difficult to imagine a scenario more delicious, from a Republican's vantage point. There is simply nothing they can do to win this year's Presidential election. They find themselves trapped......Victims of their own wicked game of identity politics, they can now only choose which candidate they want to lose in November. It really is that simple.Which ever candidate is chosen will be crippled by the bitter vanquished on the other side of the deepening democratic divide. Political correctness is starting to give way to cold reality and what was dare not whispered a few months ago, is now being spoken openly.Democrats and the media are openly worrying about the so-called "Bradl

Last year the Democratic Leadership in Congress determined that they did not want to give the Pentagon their full $196.4 billion request for Iraq and Afghanistan operations, so they appropriated $88.3 billion instead, expecting that as the public grew more tired with Iraq, and in an election year, a Spring debate would put the Republicans on the defensive and possibly mean more scrutiny of Pentagon activities and spending. It is now Spring and it is clear that this strategy has failed.
This is the Democrats' plan for the Iraq-Afghanistan supplemental they will be putting together this month: First, give the Pentagon all of the remaining funds that they had requested for this fiscal year ($108.1 billion). Second, give them another $70 billion for the next fiscal year and call it a "Bridge

No investing here but just an observation and a question. Why are Democrats so obsessed with race?
Condolezza Rice and Colin Powell have both been called "Uncle Tom's" by Democrats. When Micheal Steele ran for Governor of Maryland, the Maryland Democratic party called him an "Uncle Tom".
Bill Clinton is claiming Barack Oboma is playing the "race card". Of course this is after Barack's speech (lecture to America) on race and 8 years after Democrats labeled Clinton himself the "First Black...

In the hypothetical match up between "generic democrat" and "generic republican", the democrats have marginal leads on 3 of the top 5 issues, and are competitive in the other issues. This according to data from Rasmussen Reports. However, once you fill in the names, on the Presidential ballot, you get a radically different story. The difference is quite dramatic.Generic Dem is +8 vs Generic Republican on the issue of the economy (the #1 rated issue). However, Hillary Clinton under performs McCain by 5 percentage points. That is a 14 point swing. Makes sense, though. If you are going to compare the Bush economic record to the Clinton (Bill) economic record, Dubya wins that hands down. The Liberal Democrats have always been under fire in Southport . This is not to mention their serial bed hopper Mr John Hemming MP They seem to be in the news again of late. AN MP has called for a government inquiry into the "possible misuse" of medical records by the Liberal Democrats in Sheffield. Attercliffe MP Clive Betts told Parliament that constituents who had recently attended hospital appointments have received a Lib Dem survey asking for their views about the NHS.It seems that the Liberal Democrats always tend to misuse their privilege. Some MPs tend to abuse it in parliament and others out of parliament. In John Hemming's case he is privileged to have a constituency that accepts his flawed behaviour. Democrats in Iowa first started caucusing on January 3rd and after nearly 5 months of elections the race is still not over. How many times have we heard pundits argue that the race would be over after super Tuesday, mini-super Tuesday, or Pennsylvania? For now, though, Sen. Clinton of New York is leading the way, bringing in at least $6.29 million from the securities and investment industry, compared with $6.03 million for Sen. Those figures include donations from the investment companies' employees and political action committees.
And, here.
The Republican standard-bearer's attempt to claw back financial support from the GOP's business base could be a pivotal factor in determining the outcome of the presidential race. I read this from the San Antonio Express-News with a little astonishment:
Barack Obama would have the coattails to carry down-ballot Texas Democrats to victory in November and could be crucial to Democratic efforts to take Harris County away from Republicans, the Illinois senator’s state congressional supporters said Tuesday.
Except for, perhaps, Harris County, I don’t see how Obama is more beneficial to Texas Democrats than Hillary Clinton. In fact, I’d argue Clinton would have longer coattails next November than Obama.
You’ll note that the paragraph quoted above is pretty specific to Harris County.
My first question is, “how can someone who didn’t win the state’s popular vote among Democrats manage to have longer coattails in November?” It

Democrats are pushing for tighter regulation on hedge funds and fund managers much similar to the types of regulations that commercial banks have had for several years. National head-to-head polls now show John McCain leading both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Previously, both Senator Obama and Clinton were leading McCain in most head-to-head polls. Real Clear Politics averages for polls conducted between March 13 and March 19, show McCain beating Clinton by 1.3 percent. The same polling average also showed Obama trailed McCain by 1.4 percent. This really isn't much of a question for the Republicans or for the Democrats. I suspect that both sides would look at this as sort of a wash. John McCain might lose a few Republicans over the war while Barack Obama might lose a few Democrats. Like everything else in modern national politics, this one is about the middle. Considering that usually you have a decent percentage of each subgroup undecided, it is pretty clear that for the first time in a long time you have at least a plurality of independents who support "staying the course".
In response to this (and other polls showing similar results), the Obama camp has stated quite bluntly that they will not move away from their position of making a priority of ending our involvement in Iraq. While just a few months ago, the left was beati

Democrat concern about the Presidential election should now be morphing into outright panic. Just a day after moving the Blue State of Michigan from "likely democrat" to "leans democrat", Rasmussen Reports has moved it into the "toss-up" category. Obama wins Mississippi primary, new race row rocks Democrats BILOXI: Barack Obama on Tuesday surged to victory in Mississippi's Democratic primary (Watch) , in a new triumph over Hillary Clinton, as a fierce new race row rocked their bitter White House race. The Illinois senator punched back with his second win in a row since the former first lady pulled her campaign back from the brink of extinction, with huge victories in Texas and Ohio last week. As Mississippi voted, the tone of the race took another nasty lurch, as the Obama camp demanded the dismissal of Clinton's supporter Geraldine Ferraro, for saying: "If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position." With its 33 nominating delegates up for grabs, conservative Mississippi, reliably Republican in general elections, was
The Democrats are indeed underestimating good old John McCain. While they mention him every so often, they cannot completely focus on him with the battle that is currently taking place within the party. John McCain currently has the opportunity to plan a campaign against both Obama and Clinton. While the two favorites are slugging it out, McCain can use the Democratic race to his own advantage. The general consensus is that whichever Democrat earns the nomination, will become President. However, not everyone is ready for "change" to the ultimate extremity. Last time I checked, this is indeed the greatest deal of "change" our country has seen since its inception. When John F. Kennedy became President, Americans looked to his Catholic beliefs as radical change. Well, lets just say that the a
This really is pretty sickening to think that people stooped this low. This is the bunch pushing morality?
A staggering 16,000-plus Republicans in Cuyahoga County switched parties when they voted in last week's primary. That includes 931 in Rocky River, 1,027 in Westlake and 1,142 in Strongsville. More than a third of the Republicans in Solon and Bay Village switched. Pepper Pike had the most
Do leaders of the Democrat National Committee (DNC) actually expect the American people to believe that their party has the wherewithal to manage the most powerful nation of earth, when that same party is apparently unable to manage a simple system of pre-election primaries?
Dear Abby: My husband is a liar and a cheat. He has cheated on me from the beginning, and, when I confront him, he denies everything. What's worse, everyone knows that he cheats on me. It is so humiliating. Also, since he lost his job six years ago, he hasn't even looked for a new one. All he does all day is smoke cigars, cruise around and shoot the breeze with his buddies while I have to work to pay the bills. Since our daughter went away to college he doesn't even pretend to like me and hints that I may be a lesbian. What should I do? Signed: CluelessDear Clueless: Grow up and dump him. Good grief, woman. You don't need him anymore! You're a United States Senator from New York running for President of
As I have pointed out in the past, many times the mainstream media misses the boat. They post a news article and miss the crux of the issue. This problem is very apparent in an article in todays Washington Post entitled “Influential Democrats Waiting to Choose Sides“. To the Post, the story is that the [...]
I feel for my Democrat Brothers and sisters. I wrote my rant tonight after watching a Tv interview with 2 democrat party officials. I am sending it anywhere I can.: This is nothing more than the Democrat ...
Barack Obama's key fund raiser, Tony Rezko, went on trial last week. It's important to take a broader look at America's most corrupt large city: Chicago. (We apologize from the outset, some links no longer exist or passages we quote never existed on the web.) Chicago has had a Democratic Mayor since 1931,and today in 2008,49 of 50 Chicago Aldermen are Democrats. This long post is about the Chicago
Hillary Clinton's victories in Ohio and Texas last Tuesday may have done little to reduce Barack Obama's lead in the pledged delegate count (she enjoyed a net gain of just 10 delegates on the night according to the latest figures from Realclearpolitics) but the margin of her victory in the popular vote, which she won by 330,000 votes across the two states , raises an intriguing possibility : that come the end of the primary season in June, Democrats could face a situation where Barack Obama has more pledged delegates yet Hillary Clinton has an overall lead in the popular vote.According to the rules, the Democratic nomination is awarded to the candidate who amasses most delegates - that is, a sum of both pledged delegates (awarded according to the results of primaries and caucuses) and supe

Read about it here. There is quite a bit that could be said about this. Many other Bloggers have already written much of it. The writing is simply on the wall. I do not place the blame squarely on Bush himself. Because I am keenly aware of how things operate in Washington D.C., I know that the blame does not all go to him. I blame the advisers who went to him, the ones who were the dye-in-the-wool Neo-Conservatives, who went to him and said, "We can change the shape of the middle east, by invading Iraq." He, of course, bought into that foolish mindset and the scramble for intelligence began and when they found a piece of questionable intelligence, they proceeded to cherry pick it, to suit their needs. What followed was the quagmire that we are involved with now. This will e
National media have been very clear. The Democratic candidates need Texas to secure their party’s nomination. Both parties have gone to the media proclaiming their massive efforts to reach young voters. The Democratic Party needed something big to grab attention (and voters) for the Texas primaries and both the Clinton and Obama campaigns had big [...]
US President George Bush used a Thursday White House press conference to issue a belligerent demand that Congress pass a bill effectively gutting Constitutional protections against government spying while granting immunity to telecommunications companies that helped the administration break the law.The bullying tone of the president, who repeatedly banged the podium while warning of supposed imminent dangers posed by the Congressional delay in renewing the administration’s unfettered power to conduct domestic wiretapping, stood in sharp contradiction with the overwhelming popular hostility towards Bush, whose standing in the polls has fallen to record lows. Despite his deepening political isolation, the Republican president is justifiably confident that the Democratic majority in Congres
From time to time, its repeated, "Winning America is blood sport, but the idealist I am , I usually shrug that off, believing there's always a better way. Now on that premise ..... taking the high road, I am obviously dead wrong.Because as I look at the fight and animus demonstrated between the Democratic contenders, Senators Clinton and Obama, I see lines drawn in the sand and 'generals' preparing to battle for votes. How did this intra- party war emerge and eventually who will win? Given Senator Obama has been riding high with successes in 26 states, with 1,042 delegates and Senator Clinton trailing behind with successes in 11 states and 1, 042 delegates, it is clear that the winner is being challenged. And unfortunately one team is pulling out all the stops to get to the finishing line.
Oh no, that evil consumer advocate Ralph Nader just entered the Presidential race! You know who he is....the only politician in America that's running because of his or her ego because we all know Obama, McCain, and even Hillary Clinton don't have an ego...Time for a snap back into reality Democrats.First let's debunk the myth that Democrats have been perpetuating since 2000 that Nader "spoiled" the 2000 election for Al Gore and "handed" it to George W. Bush. It's simple and it goes like this...Every American citizen has the right to run for President, and no candidate is ever entitled to your vote. So the question remains... Why did 97,000 voters in Florida decide to vote for Nader? We don't know, but I can probably bank on the fact that they agreed with Nader more than Gore or Bush. S
Democrats debated for the final time this week in Ohio with just one week before pivotal primaries are set for Texas and Ohio. Polls show Obama pulling ahead in Texas while Clinton still has a 10 point margin in Ohio.
Senator Hillary Clinton won the Israel vote in the Democrats Abroad Global Primary, but was defeated in the international race by Senator Barack Obama, who captured the majority of the votes cast by American expatriates who voted in the Democratic Global Primary held earlier this month.

President Bush said Saturday that Democratic leaders in the House are blocking key intelligence legislation so trial lawyers can sue phone companies that helped the government eavesdrop on suspected terrorists after the Sept. 11 attacks.
Terrorists are plotting new attacks against America “at this very moment,” Bush said in renewing his call for [...]
I was watching Hannity and Colmes last night on FNC and the had Frank Luntz, a pollster on. Frank Luntz was with a group of Democrats discussing who they were favoring and Sean Hannity had a brilliant idea. That idea was to ask the Democrats what accomplishments either Hillary or Obama had accomplished. The Democratic group could not think of one, neither could Alan Colmes. It just shows that the Democratic party is all about talk but nothing more. They are voting on personality. If you ask Republicans what accomplishments McCain, Romney or Huckabee have, we could name at least one for each and more. Attacking spending for McCain, tremendous business man in Romney (i.e. Salt Lake City Olympics) and Huckabee helped Arkansas have one of the best school accountability in the country.
Slick Willie: Interviewing another intern?Imagine the suffering those poor Democrats are going through. After 8 years of sheer bliss having the most criticized and lampooned American president in history as a target, the Party that a Blue Dress Built was high on expectations for the upcoming election. They had the world at their feet, gleefully enjoying being on the public’s side on issues like the Iraq War and the economy, and managed to gain control of the government. They had even managed to put some mileage between themselves and the poisonous public image of Slick Willie. Then it all fell apart. Check out the news lately and you will see an old face from the past haunting the Democratic race. Bill Clinton has returned to the limelight just in time to throw a wrench into his wife’s
