Clients did not fare too badly today, despite the big market drop. Most clients were ahead or just slightly down. Hopefully, we do not see a steeper market drop tomorrow. My plan today had been to sell many clients out during this morning's rally, however, none of their stocks hit my sell targets. Although for some they got very close, which is definitely frustrating. My first permanent teaching job was at Gompers Middle School in Los Angeles on Imperial and Main. It was a tough school and although I can’t say I loved teaching there, I look back on my experience with some fondness. #702: I COOKED SOMETHING DECENTMs. Dymund posted a recipe that is very similar to one I cooked up last night, and as I was reading it, a realization washed over me that made me want to stand up and sing. Last night, the pot of food that I cooked up was edible. EDIBLE! And not only that, the food I made was enjoyable to eat.Shut up. No. For serious. The Palinode even packed some of it up for lunch today, because it was so good that he wanted to eat it two days in a row. There have been occasions in which he took polite little mouthfuls, drank gulps of water, and told me that my food was lovely, which is horribly funny to watch, especially when his eyes water, but the food I made yesterday was a dish he ate with gusto two days in a row. There is hope for me and kitchen-related tasks yet.I thought that if I could make this recipe work, anyone could, so I am passing it on. Warning: Way Long Post AheadWell as the last few weekends go this one was one of the good ones. Daddy and I headed up to the club on Friday.
