There is no art without intoxication. But I mean a mad intoxication! Let reason teeter! Delirium! The highest degree of delirium! Plunged in burning dementia! Art is the most enrapturing orgy within man’s reach. Art must make you laugh a little and make you a little afraid. Anything as long as it doesn’t bore…

Traveling is the most regarded lifestyle an individual can invest on since it involves constant and solid planning and cooperative external factors like the weather condition. But one cannot deny the intense feeling he gets from starting off on his first trip to a foreign land, driving into the unknown with a map and road guides, and the “i don't want to go home yet” charm when nearing the end of the trip, let's say, on a New Zealand Motorhome Rental?
A campervan hire or motorhome rental can give you exactly that. Why? You only pack once, not having to worry about over-packing and forgetting to leave your unm
During my confinement days.. I do a whole lot of daydreaming. It was worse when I was recuperating during my time with my firstborn. I wasn't blogging back then, that's why.
Now, the daydreams have become somewhat less.. but more... how shall I put it??.. More "imaginative" I guess. I used to daydream about minor stuff like shopping till I drop, but now, the daydreams are shopping till I drop,
From: chiemo88@yahoo.comSubject: Daydreams and FantasiesThe other day I was sitting on the beach. The ice-cold pink lemonade felt like a warm blanket on a cold night as it submerged my tongue and coated my throat in sweet bliss. A light layer of sweat had formed on my bare torso and arms, but an occasional breeze would soothe my heated skin. If you haven't met Kerri (or her husband Ross) yet, pour yourself a cuppa and spend some time delving through her archives. They're all as good as this one...
Stuart has generously offered to give me the run of his blog, in a guest post, while he's off gallivanting in Tasmania. I thought, "Why not? I haven't had a trip to my beloved birth country since 2003, and I've never been to Western Australia. If I can't go physically, at least I can have a virtual trip". So here I am!
My first thoughts were of the glorious gardens my mother used to grow, and specifically, her magnificent fuchsias.
Mom lived in Palm Beach, NSW during my teen years, and then later at Nels
This morning, before the sun came up, I took our dog for a walk. The sky was that pearly blue that deepens into an impossible, nearly neon shade before the sun emerges over the horizon and washes it out. It was beautiful - fat snowflakes drifted to the ground, settling ...
