The crew finished putting in the fire line today. Despite the weather warnings for today, things look like they are holding pretty well. Weather forecasts are calling for gusty winds, hot temperatures and low relative humidity, resulting in more active fire behavior. The Division would like them to do 1-2 more shifts, then they will probably be reassigned to another Montana incident. Today this is what they saw from another fire close to them (pictured below).
Today they worked on putting in more line. The fire line that is already there, has been holding nicely. However, tomorrow a Red Flag Warning has been issued for high winds associated with a cold front moving through.The crew will more than likely be spiked out until they are released from this incident. A CL-215 (from Canada), a large water-carrying aircraft, assisted with the firefighting efforts today. This is a picture of the aircraft scooping water out of Flathead lake. Water drops were helpful in more containment efforts.

Little activity on the fire today. The crew mopped up and fell hazard trees. The forcasted wind event did not occur today, however is still being forcasted for tomorrow's weather, potentially bringing wind gusts to 30 mph.The Red Flag Warning will remain in effect until Saturday. The fire containment is about 55% as of this evening.The estimated size is 3,100 acres.The little brown bear was spotted again today.
Chad Vader é o irmão caçula do temido Darth Vader. Infelizmente Chad sofreu um terrível acidente quando andava de bicicleta, caindo em um vulcão ativo. Se bem que dizem que não foi acidente mas sim um jeito de chamar a atenção do famoso irmão.

This is the first episode in a very funny series called Chad Vader - Day Shift Manager. The basic brilliant premise is that Chad (Darth’s less charismatic, less talented younger brother) is a day shift manager at a grocery store. The series is brought to you by Blame Society Productions (Matt Sloan and Aaron Yonda), who also between them play Chad himself.
There are some brilliant scenes in this first episode and the voice acting and interplay between the characters is excellent. I love the way Chad refers to the store manager as ‘Emperor’. There are some great spoof moments of Star Wars included in this episode including the famous scene of Darth lifting up someone by his hand/mind.
I’ll be bringing you the rest of the series as they are released so keep an eye out.
