Here's a quick and easy card you can make for Mother's Day. All you need to do is roll out a circle of paper clay ( sold at Michaels and Daiso). Push the child's hand in the clay. Let the hand print dry for a day. When dry, glue it to your choice of card stock. This would also look cute framed in a shadow box.*Paper clay is very light so it won't way down the card at all. You can also paint paper clay.
Paris Hilton made her first fathers day card in years for her dad yesterday in prison for fathers day. How sweet of her to do that! I am sure it is the best fathers day card he as ever recieved from her with all that time on her hands.
This is a card which Clara had given me this morning, as soon as I woke up in the morning. Today is Mother’s Day. Apparently, she had it all prepared. She woke up early in the morning, the first one to wake up in the family, went to the study room (I had no idea what she did).
When she saw me woke up, she came to me, smiled to me, hug me and gave me the card. I was touched by her sincerity and kindness. She is always so sweet, so helpful and kind.
This is the inside of the card. It shows a ‘pop-out’ heart. I was so surprised! She is so thoughtful and smart!

Did a very quick Mothers Day card this morning, before I set off to see my Mum for the day ! Always last minute as ever. On cream pearlescent card I stamped the butterfly (Personal Impressions) in Versamark and heat embossed with detail gold EP. Then cut out the image and coloured by hand with USArtQuest Stargazers watercolours. I added antenna with gold wire. The background was again stamped with Versamark and the Rubber Stampede Acanthus Background stamp and again embossed with detail gold EP. Trimmed this to fit and matted onto the A6 base card and embellished with the butterfly attached with foam pads. The Mother chipboard plate is by K & Co and I added a ribbon bow for good measure. Hope she likes it !!
I don't know why, but it's taking me longer than usual to adjust to Daylight Savings Time. Usually it's not a problem. I don't know whether it's because Gianni still isn't napping and I'm dealing with cranky boy in the evenings or what. He didn't nap for his father again today. However, he was in a good mood and went to bed at 7 with no complaints. I had to get him out of the tub a little early because he looked like he was going to fall asleep!Well, I haven't gotten much done in the way of freebies this week.
