Britain’s Got Talent winner George Sampson spends time with David Cameron
Britain’s Got Talent winner George Sampson spent yesterday afternoon at London’s St Thomas’s Hospital with the Tory leader David Cameron. George said that “He struck me as the type of guy who would stand at the back of the dance hall and just move his shoulders. He has got no rhythm. He looked like the [...]

Personal Carbon Trading - A response from the office of David Cameron (UK Tory leader)
We’ve all heard how carbon traders are getting rich at the expense of us all, and very very little is being achieved with this regarding carbon reduction. OK, so now we have PERSONAL CARBON TRADING. Personal carbon trading would allow individuals to surrender their credits as they made certain purchases that resulted in emissions, such [...]

A Cast Iron Promise from David Cameron.
Today, I will give this cast-iron guarantee: If I become PM a Conservative government will Small wonder that so many people don’t believe a word politicians ever say if they break their promises so casually. hold a referendum on any EU treaty that emerges from these negotiations. That was David Cameron in September 2007 [...]

      David Cameron on Crewe blog
We had Nick Clegg last week and now, cheers to the local Conservative campaign team, we have a blog from David Cameron. It's a bit party political broadcast, but it's a gesture. Will we get something from Gordon? Anyway, here goes (picture from last week when he went walkabout with Edward Timpson around Nantwich)...."As I think readers of the Crewe blog will know, I’ve been up to Crewe and Nantw

David Cameron In Party Logo Fiasco
David Cummerbund Leader of the Conservative Party has come under fire from his party after it was claimed that a family friends son was paid a quarter of a million for designing the Conservative Parties new logo. The traditional logo which was been replaced for some months now depicted an outstretched blue arm holding a torch with the colours of the union jack like flames burning from it. However, the new logo has come under close scrutiny due to its minimalist look of a child like tree with green scribbled leaves above a hastily coloured blue tree trunk.A top ranking Conservative MP, Harrington-Carrington of Barrington-On-Sea wrote in the Times:-“It has been commented in the party that a child has in fact drawn this logo. I must admit no professional artist would produce anything as in

      David Cameron backs 'brilliant' Boris!
"I don't always agree with him but I respect the fact that he's absolutely his own man", says David Cameron. I suspect that the admiration temperature only shot up the scale when the polling results came! Boris is in the lead, over Ken Livingstone, that is.This election will be very interesting. I hope Boris wins, partly because Ken Livingstone has had his day (too much cronyism!) and partly because London requires a mayor who will be larger than life. I bet that it won't be just Londoners talking about the Mayor of London. Boris may appear on Jay Leno's Tonight Show. He may well visit other cities around the world and be remembered and not forgotten. The one thing Boris has shown is that you can put a bit of fun into politics but also be serious as well. Jeremy Thorpe, the past Liberal lea

      David Cameron and Social Policy
Does Tory leader David Cameron’s new welfare plan work? This from his newsletter to supporters: “Our radical programme is designed to end the culture of long-term welfare dependency, and involves measures such as time limits on out-of-work benefits and US-style return-to-work programmes for jobseekers.” Who are these people, and how did this begin? Well, they are the [...]

      David Cameron:The New Gussie Fink-Nottle?
Last week I made the mistake of sitting through half of a documentary on wallpaper-like David Cameron. There was one section which really convinced me how unfit the man is to do anything political. It was his infamous "Let Sunshine Win The Day" Speech, which made him sounds like P.G. Wodehouse's Gussie-Fink-Nottle.Labour are pessimists. They think that without their guidance people will do the wrong thing, that's why they want to regulate and control. So let us show clearly which side we are on. Let optimism beat pessimism, let sunshine win the day, and let everyone know that the Conservative Party is ready - ready to serve, ready to fight, ready to win.No political party is wholly pessimistic. For one, they are optimistic enough to believe they can rule, not rule for the better, perhaps, but rule.Secondly, Labour trust the public enough to encourage gambling with super casinos, open pubs 24hrs (which is a good idea in quiet areas, and bad in many city centres) and of course the maxim o

David Cameron On Human Rights Act
www.j-lou.com   David Cameron the leader of the Conservative Party has asked for the Human Rights Act to be abolished after it has allowed the killer of Headmaster Philip Lawrence to stay in Britain rather than face deportation once his sentence has been served.   David Cameron said that the act should be replaced with a British Bill of Rights, which clearly state and set out the rights and responsibilities.   Mr Cameron accused the Government of being “blind” about the act’s failing, on speaking on BBC West Midlands, adding it would be common sense to scrap it altogether   The headmaster Mr Lawrence was stabbed to death in an attack outside St Georges Roman Catholic School In Maida Vale, West London in December 1995 as he was trying to protect a 13 year old pupil.   A tribunal FOR asylum and Immigration ruled on Monday that the killer Learco Chindamo should be allowed to stay in Britain at the end of his sentence.   Mr Cameron said while speaking during a special one hou

David Cameron - Vote Blue, Go Green
I have been a personal fan of David Cameron for over a year now. Some of my closest friends recieved an email from me last year when he travelled India. What I like about him is his ability to blend new technology and politics. His sense of being practical and his attempt to carry people with him is where the attraction lies. Comparing his views with Bush and Blair is like comparing chalk and cheese. He is definetely younger, and therefore has more time to implement his ideas and can think more closer to his voting demographic.. I like him for his blog, [yup politicians do blog!] and the fact that he does talk about global issues, not just local Only time will tell whether my liking is well founded, or whether I too fell for the smooth pre-election talk , like everyone else. But something tells me that he is the real deal..  Here is wishing him well for the elections this week… He is one of the few politicians to be interviewed on utube. Take a look. Share This

Tory MP David Cameron Gets Bucked!
Fresh from having a cup of tea with Rhymefest and discussing Rap music's impact on society a few months back,DC set out on another campaign to 'hug a hoodie' yesterday but it all went a bit Pete tong (wrong) when Ryan Florence, 17, appeared in a number of newspapers after creating his own photo opportunity in Wythenshawe, Manchester. After visiting the United Estates of Wythenshawe (UWE) project, the MP was accompanied on a tour of a local estate. And while photographers took Mr Cameron's picture, the youngster - dressed in a black tracksuit and hoodie - made a shooting action with his hand behind the MP's back. What are they doing for us around here? Nothing said Ryan Florence. He told reporters that is was "just a gun gesture" and a way of saying "don't mess".Asked whether he meant any harm to the Tory leader or was just having fun he added: "Yeah, yeah - messing about innit?"Ryan, who claims to be a member of a gang called the Benchill Mad Dogs, said politicians were doing li
