Yemeni market refuses to stock Danish products. Street demonstrations are illegal in Saudi Arabia, so the next best thing – well, actually a better thing – is to organize a boycott to demonstrate displeasure of the actions of another country. Supermarkets throughout Saudi Arabia have stopped stocking the shelves with Danish products to protest the re-publication of the Prophet Muhammad cartoons. The boycott was effective in late 2005 and early 2006 when markets stopped stocking dairy products imported from Denmark.
