Konami posted teaser sites for the arcade and Playstation 2 versions of Dance Dance Revolution X. Though it may be a while before we get any more information about the release, there does seem to be a slightly different cabinet design on the arcade teaser page. Dance Dance Revolution X represents the game's 10th anniversary (the series originally launched in 1998) and from statements from Konami
Watching both So You Think You Can Dance and Best Dance Crew in one night makes me want to drag out my DDR pad and dance the day away. Only I’m at work and I think my boss would frown upon that… Ok, so I’ve got commentary and probably some unpopular fandom opinions but that’s [...]

Stepmania for the Nintendo Wii has had mixed views from gamers, but most gamers do find that Stepmania is in a word “horrible”.
I have heard some people even go as far as calling Stepmania, “for the lazy people who don’t want to play DDR”.
It is hard to even compare to Dance Dance Revolution as millions of arcade fans and gamers have had hours of fun on DDR, Stepmania does not have my kind of music but it’s a cool concept.
Watch the video below of Stepmania, what do you think?

Ok, lets have some fun… since I’ve been on a video kick lately I thought I’d share a non real estate investing video. It’s one of the most watched of last year and one of my all time favorites.

Two deals to throw out to you today.
First, a nice bonus for those pre-ordering Halo 3 from Circuit City, a 4 foot tall Master Chief wall graphic. You can reserve from Circuit City online for as low as $10. I am not the pre-order type, but this one is making it quite easy, and though it goes against my “no pre-ordering policy” that I just made up ( I have had very close friends with very bad experiences with a certain unnamed game reselling chain store that rhymes with ‘LameShop’), I am on good terms with Circuit City, and being able to pre-order while sitting here typing in my underpants just sweetens the deal. You can pre-order either the Standard or Limited copy @ CircuitCity.com.
Second, DDR + the Pad for $20 off the normal price. If you are a fan, for whatever reason still haven’t picked this up, this is quite the deal for you. You can handle that over @ Amazon.com.
That is the deals, now either spend some money, or click ‘Read the rest

So what do you get when you combine Dance Dance Revolution's aerobic work out gameplay with the Wii Remote's motion sensing? Well, outside of the threat of broken limbs, dislocated knees, and Wii Remotes through TVs, it sounds like a great time! NGCFrance.com recently revealed that Konami's latest installment of the Dance Dance series (Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party) specially made for the Nintendo Wii's unique capabilities will be released in August 2007. The game will ship included with the dance pad. The game is set to feature 4 player multiplayer support, smash dance hits from the last 4 decades (including "Everybody Dance Now" and "Gonna Make you Sweat"), and entire new modes of play. Though I'm not personally coordinated enough to play the series, perhaps this will be a motivating factor to get me to learn. Anyone up for disco?Source: Konami US Releases Dated (also verified on Konami's official site that shows a release date of August 2007 for the game with danc
Defiant against the Wii weight-loss revolution and taking a page from fatblogging, a man gamed to his death recently. At 26 years old and 330 pounds, the online gamer died after gaming for almost a week long. Neighbors are blaming the Chinese New Year for turning "youngsters" into gaming addicts, saying that since markets and cafeterias are shut down, they don't have anything to do but game. One would think that there would actually be less deaths for gamers tipping the scales at 330 pounds when the cafeterias are closed, but of course gaming has a frag rep to maintain.tags technorati : china ddr gaming online wii
