Anderson Silva Vs. Dan Henderson - it's one of those fights for me where it's just very difficult to pick. I really like both fighters. Anderson Silva is really well rounded and only lacks in takedown defense where Dan Henderson excels. Henderson also, in my opinion, has more power to his wild punching style but Silva is extremely accurate with his. That's the beauty of MMA, this fight can end in a number of way. I'm picking Anderson Silva by slow methodical pick apart.

Rumors of UFC 82 events are already out there. UFC 82 will take place at the Nationwide Arena on March 1st 2008 in Columbus Ohio. The main event will be Dan Henderson vs Anderson Silva for the middleweight championship.
Rumors of a rematch fight for Matt Hamill and Micheal Bisping are out there. Rumors of Jon Fitch to fight Akihiro Gono also exist. Other fighters that you may see at UFC 82 are Josh Koscheck and Karo Parisyan (hopefully he puts on a more exciting fight than UFC 78).
The best thing that came out of UFC 78....Dana White announced Anderson Silva will fight Dan Henderson at UFC 82, currently scheduled for March 1, 2008 in Ohio. Most of the MMA community saw this as the best possible challenge to Silva's reign over the thin Middleweight division, but up until this announcement, Dan Henderson didn't seem to agree. The UFC announced at the post fight press conference that Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva will face Dan Henderson in March next year.Heres the FULL ARTICLE from MMAweekly.My Take- Man I'm counting the days for this fight to happen, what a war this should be. Both have ridiculous chins so a knockout is not likely, but both have serious power so you never know. The big question I think would be is if the wrestler Hendo will want to take Anderson down and hold him there or will Anderson's muay thai be too much. It has just been announced on the UFC website that Brazilian Mixed Martial Arts Fighter, Wanderlei Silva will return to the UFC as a 205 pounder this December! Pride and the UFC are really starting to come together these days. It’s been seven years since Wanderlei Silva has fought with the UFC (UFC 25). Wanderlei has name a big name for himself with Pride, fighting such large names as Dan Henderson and Quinton Jackson (he beat Rampage twice!). Wanderlei has also fought UFC’s Tito Ortiz and Vitor Belfort in 2000 and in 1998 respectively. There has been talk for years of a fight between Chuck Liddell and Wanderlei Silva all starting at UFC 61 when Wanderlei entered the ring and talked some smack.
